As Kylie and Alexander’s relationship deepened, another dynamic began to take shape in everyone’s lives, causing mixed feelings and unexpected tensions. David, Alexander’s best friend, found himself conflicted about what he saw between his friend and Kylie. He wouldn’t admit it out loud, but he felt drawn to Kylie from the moment he met her, and he ended up caught between his respect for his friend and his own feelings for Kylie that were beginning to escalate. Alexander noticed the twinkle in David’s eyes when he talked to Kylie, and it bothered him despite his attempts to pretend he didn’t care. The closer Kylie got to him and more prominent in his life, the more jealous Alexander became involuntarily, and he saw his relationship with his friend gradually begin to strain.
One evening at a fancy restaurant, the atmosphere was filled with silent emotions. Kylie was sitting between Alexander and David, and she could sense that there was something uneasy in the air, despite their attempts at friendliness. David spoke up with a bit of a joke and said, “You know, Kylie? Alexander isn’t the perfect guy he seems. He might be more of a rebel than you think.”

It seemed like a passing joke, but the tension in Alexander’s eyes revealed something deeper. Alexander couldn’t bear the negative connotation from David, so he said with a faint smile, “I think Kylie can figure that out for herself, David.”

The next moment of silence was heavy, and Kylie sensed that there was something uneasy between the two of them. She knew there was a hidden conflict between them, and she might have unwittingly caused it. She began to wonder if she had become part of problems she didn’t intend to be a part of.
In the days that followed, Kylie noticed conflicting behaviors from Alexander and David, as if they were in an indirect struggle to win her heart. David was trying indirectly to get close to her, while Alexander, in turn, was showing a passionate side and a desire to push David away from her. Kylie found herself confused; she loved the sides of both of them, and she wished there was nothing to separate them. She began to realize that both Alexander and David had strong feelings for her, but they were completely different. She saw David as a true friend and supporter, but he had a touch of mystery and attraction that was difficult for her to resist. Alexander, on the other hand, represented overwhelming charm and confidence, and he had a power that fascinated her, but she knew that this kind of power could be difficult to tame.
Another time, Kylie went out with David, and an unexpected coincidence occurred when the three met at a friends' party. When Alexander saw them together, his blood boiled. He approached them with a suspicious smile and said in a nervous voice, "You two seem to be enjoying your time, right?"

David could sense Alexander's nervousness, but he ignored him and said calmly, "Yes, I think Kylie deserves a good time, don't you?"

Kylie felt like she was caught in the middle of a silent argument between the two, and said with a cautious smile, "I think this is a time for everyone to have fun, no need to worry."

But this comment did not calm things down. Alexander felt that David was taking advantage of any opportunity to get close to Kylie, and that he might be trying to win her heart with his calm and seductive manner.
After that night, Kylie became more aware of the tension between Alexander and David. She saw how each encounter left a deep mark, and she began to realize that both men had mixed feelings inside them; feelings she had never expected to cause. She tried to distance herself from both of them to give herself space to process her feelings for each of them, but they continued to show up in her life in ways that complicated matters. Alexander, who had always been in control and confident, found himself confronting feelings he wasn’t prepared for. He felt that Kylie was the only thing that gave him a different feeling than the cold success he was experiencing, yet he was afraid of losing control of her because of David’s closeness to her. And this fear of losing Kylie made him show a side of jealousy and clinginess that he wasn’t used to.
On the other hand, David was trying hard to hold himself together and remain friends with Alexander, but he couldn’t help but feel increasingly strongly about Kylie. He saw hope and renewal in her, something he hadn’t felt in a long time, especially after the hardships he’d been through. She felt like the escape he’d been waiting for, but he knew that expressing his feelings publicly would risk losing his deep friendship with Alexander.
One day, David decided to confront the tension indirectly. He invited Alexander to sit with him alone, trying to break the ice that had begun to build up between them. David said calmly as he looked at his friend: "Alexander, I feel like we've been acting like rivals for a while now. I know things are tense because of Kylie, but our friendship is what matters most, right?"
