Let's do this one more time.

My name is Y/n Parker. My dad was bitten by a radioactive spider and until I was born, he was the one, and only, Spider-Man.

I'm pretty sure you know the rest.

He saved a bunch of people, saved the city, and then he saved the city again.... And again. He's a comic book, a cereal, he made a christmas album, he's got a pretty nice theme song and a... well... so-so popsicle.

He's definitely looked worse.

But even after everything, after saving the city time after time, after losing again and again. He still loves being Spider-Man. I mean... who wouldn't? And no matter how many hits he takes, he always finds a way back.

The only thing standing between this city and oblivion, is my dad. There's only one Spider-Man.

And maybe one day, there'll be two.

"Miles! Miles, time for school!"

"Miles!" Still no answer despite his mother and father calling him down. "Miles!"

Mr. Davis has to call again before Miles calls back with a crack in his voice. You chuckle, hand firmly on the strap of your computer bag. No doubt he was anxious.

"Are you finished packing for school?"

Rio rolls her eyes, beckoning you inside off of the street.

"¿Cómo estás niño? Te va bien en la escuela?"

"Sí Señora Morales. Es va bien." You give her a kind smile as she hands you a tupperware of breakfast.

"Your spanish is improving. Keep up the good work, kiddo."

"Of course Mrs. Morales. I wouldn't dream of doing anything different."

You lean against a wall by the door as Miles comes flying down the stairs. Taking a few bites of breakfast, asking where his laptop is. Your earbud is vaguely playing some of your rock music. You shove the breakfast in your lunch pale, saving it for later. No doubt Miles would forget his lunch, may as well save him something.

Rio spouts a little bit about Miles driving her crazy as he insists the two of you walk to school. No doubt he'd made a few stickers he wanted to throw around. You wave to Mr. Davis, who narrows his eyes at you. Rio had always taken a liking to you, but Jeff never cut you an ounce of slack.

You guessed it was because he'd felt you were typically a negative influence on his son. Which was a fair response, you didn't try to stop him from placing his stickers everywhere. You didn't really see a problem with it. Besides, the streets here needed more art.

You finally made it out the door, Rio following close behind, smothering Miles in kisses. Miles is thoroughly embarrassed, but is definitely appreciative of his mothers love.

"Mom. We gotta go."

Rio rolls her eyes. Turning towards you. Planting a kiss on the crown of your head. You chuckle. Rio laughs a little, waving to the two of you as you start your walk.

"Ustedes Llamame! See you Friday!"

You wave to Mrs. Morales, Miles following suite.

"Si Rio! Hasta Luego!"

"Okay, mami. Hasta Viernes!"

Miles gives you a grin as the two of you rush down the street. He puts his headphones over his head. You make it to Brooklyn Middle. Miles waving and chatting to old friends of his. You give them all small smiles.

The only school you'd ever known was Visions, and you knew that it was nothing like this, nothing like what Miles had experienced. He wouldn't stop telling you about Brooklyn Middle and you wished you had known what it was like to interact with a public school. Your mother had insisted you be homeschooled, and in case your dads identity ever got out, you took her last name and never talked about your parents. No one was to know that you were the child of Peter Parker or Mary Jane Parker. Each for very different reasons.

You follow after Miles, who places a few of his homemade stickers in the palm of your hand. You both take off at running speed. You flying ahead of Miles. Jumping higher than Miles could. Reaching higher than Miles could. Staying in the air a little longer than Miles could.

You'd learned that as the child of the Spider-Man you'd gained many spider-like traits. You could jump over fifty-times the length of your body, you could see ridiculously well in the dark, and you'd learned that you were great at spinning a good lie.

A loud clang behind you catches your attention as a thud hits the ground. You rush to turn your head around as Miles lay flat on his stomach in the street. You rush towards him as a car comes down the street. Checking that he's alright. Grabbing his headphones from the ground. A familiar whoop of a siren catches your attention and you wince. Miles sighs. You both knew what was coming.

"Aw c'mon." Miles breathes and you laugh.

"Should've tied your shoes."

He gives you a satirical grin as you help him up. He brushes off his jacket from the dirt of the ground.

This is gonna be a long ride to school.
