What if Norman never got shipped and it went as planned?

Chapter 1 :)

Timeline: When They are going to check out the wall and what's beyond it. So, during the Escape arc

No One's POV:

Emma and Norman are running to the wall to investigate it while Ray is distracting Mom. Don and Gilda are keeping watch. Everything should go to plan if were careful. They ran to the wall and made it, Norman began to climb the wall while Ray was distracting Mom, and everything was going to plan. Emma managed to scale the wall and see there was a cliff on all sides of it and the only possible exit was a bride. "Hey Emma, do you think we could cross the bridge? There may be another way." Norman spoke facing Emma. "Maybe we should definitely have a backup in case something doesn't go to plan, hey! what about that area right there we could use some kind of zipline to cross it, if there isn't enough to go across the bridge or if there are guards of some kind." Emma said pointing to a tree across the giant ditch. it certainly looked strong enough to hold.

"Thats a great idea Emma!" Norman said after hearing Emma's plan. "We could probably use makeshift rope." Norman continued on making calculations in his head and finding a way it could work. "We should probably get down and back to the house, I don't think Ray can stall forever." Emma said after a few minutes of examining the location. Norman nods and begins to climb down, followed quickly by Emma. They ran back to the house as fast as they could so they could tell Don and Gilda what they learned and not make Mom suspicious when she checks her tracker. 

"Hey Don and Gilda, were back!" Emma says while running up to them. "Hey Emma." Gilda says while adjusting her glasses. "What did you find out?" Don asks Norman who had finished running back to the house seconds after Emma. "So, we found out that the plant is surrounded entirely by a giant cliff and the only noticeable exit that the demons would expect us to take is a singular bridge. But me and Emma have come up with a better idea. We found a tree across from the ravine that looked strong enough to be used as a zipline of sorts, we could build a makeshift rope to use." Norman says to Don who stands there taking in the information.

Ray walks out of the house and up to the group. "Hey guys, what did you find out about the wall and what's beyond it?" Ray says in a hushed tone when Mom walks by. Norman and Emma nod and Norman speaks up and says, "We found out there's a cliff surrounding the whole plant, but we found a way to cross it by using a zipline of sorts."  Ray nods along to the plan being said then says out of the blue "What if we set the house on fire?". "WHAT!" Emma shouts concerned. "I mean as a distraction Emma, so we have more time to escape without Mom chasing us." Ray says explaining his arsenic thought. "Thats actually a good idea Ray!" Norman and Emma say in unison.

Sorry for the short chapter but I didn't feel like writing anymore. I'll try to update the story as soon as possible so in like 1-2 days :). Schools been slow so I'll try do a longer chapter next time but until then have a great day/evening. I hope you enjoyed my story so far!
