"I'm happy you tagged along with me today. Working out won't be so boring when I have you." Gracie smiled as you walked into the gym together.

"I feel the same way."

You looked around to see that there were only a few other people there.

"What do you want to start with?"

"The treadmill."

"Okay." She said and kissed your cheek. "I'm going to start with something else if that's alright with you."

You nodded your head and she leaned in to peck your lips before you headed in different directions.

You went over to the treadmill and started it on the lowest setting.

But it didn't take very long for you to start feeling a little insecure.

Even though you knew they weren't, it almost felt like everyone was looking at you.

You haven't had much time to come to the gym recently because life has been keeping you busy and you've been trying to simply enjoy the free time you do have.

There's nothing wrong with that too especially because you're pretty healthy and Gracie always reminds you when you do have moments of self-doubt that that's all that truly matters and she loves you just the way you are.

But you feel a little out of place here right now, almost as if you didn't fit in at all with anyone here.

You decided to really push yourself today and you turned the settings up on the treadmill so you'd go much faster.

Before you knew it, you could barely keep up at the speed you were going.

You were sweating a ton and struggling to catch your breath as you ran faster and faster on the treadmill until you were too worn out and had no other choice but to stop.

You held onto the sides of it as it came to a stop and squeezed your eyes shut momentarily.

Wiping the sweat away from your forehead, you got off the treadmill and moved onto one of the bikes.

You pushed yourself hard on this too, spending a while on it until your legs began to hurt too much and you had to call it quits.

"There you are," Gracie said as she came to your side. 'How are you doing?"

"I'm fine."

You didn't feel fine but you lied to her a little just to keep her from worrying too much.

"I was thinking we could lift some weights together."

"Okay."

You stood up and when you did so, you had to hold onto the handle of the bike to keep yourself from falling.

"Hey, are you okay, baby?" She asked worriedly as her arms wrapped around you.

"I'm okay." You replied though Gracie could tell you weren't okay.

"Are you pushing yourself too hard?"

You went to reply, your lips parting slightly.

But before you could say a word, the room started to spin and you felt so dizzy that even closing your eyes tightly didn't work.

You could still feel the room spinning around and around.

"You need some water. Didn't you bring any in with you?"

"I forgot in the car."

She cursed quietly.

"Gracie?"

"What is it, baby?"

"I think I'm going to pass out."

Her eyes went wide and as your knees gave out and everything went black, she caught you in her arms.

"Oh, my god. Y/N? Y/N, come on. Open your eyes!"

By now, people were crowding around and one even called for an ambulance.

When Gracie heard the sirens, she breathed out a sigh of relief and then watched your eyes open.

"Gracie?"

"Shhh," She whispered. "Don't move, baby. An ambulance is almost here."

You just hummed and closed your eyes again because they felt so heavy.

It wasn't until you were actually at the hospital that you opened your eyes again.

When you opened your eyes, you felt Gracie's hand wrapped around yours and looked over to see her in the chair beside the hospital bed.

She'd fallen asleep.

Only when her name left your lips did she awake.

"Gracie?"

"Hey," She said with a soft smile. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm fine. What happened?"

"You passed out at the gym. They said you probably pushed yourself too hard and you were exhausted and dehydrated."

"I'm so sorry."

"It's okay. All I care about is that you're okay and you are. That's all that matters to me."

She brought your hand to her lips for a loving kiss.

"Why did you push yourself so hard though, baby? We just went there to work out a little, not to that extreme."

"I know. That's what I told myself when we first got there but it felt like everyone was staring at me. Sometimes I just don't feel good about myself and I felt like I stood out too much there."

"Baby, you're perfect just the way you are."

"That's what you say but sometimes I just don't feel like it."

Gracie understood that completely so she just nodded and kissed your hand again.

"I love you very much and you will always be perfect to me. I don't want you to push yourself this hard again. You scared me a lot."

You squeezed her hand and sent her a small smile.

"I promise I won't ever do that again."

"Okay, good." She whispered before she began to use her free hand to brush her fingers through your hair. "We'll take a short break from the gym though, okay?"

"That's okay with me."

She chuckled and pressed kisses along your arm.

"You're beautiful, my baby. Don't you ever forget that."
