Sleep had always been a challenge for Wren, her mind was always running at a fast pace, never fully being able to turn off. Even as a child, sleep barely came to her, no matter what she, or her parents did.

Her body only allowed her to fall asleep when she was exhausted, and sometimes it was in the most uncomfortable places.

It was not an odd sight in Dauntless to see their doctor asleep in a closet, or on the floor of the training room. Outside of her door with her key in the lock, anywhere in the med bay, though that is common for any doctor.

Wren likes to believe her brain was the reason she became so infatuated with medicine, how she hyper-fixated on it until she quite literally passed out.

She didn't liked the serums each faction had, the components in them rewired the brain too much. Besides she enjoyed getting answers from someone a much funner way...

"Look, I can't let you go until you tell me what I need to know". She crouches next to a man.

His shirt and pants were off leaving him in just his underwear, he was tied to a cement floor in the basement of Dauntless. The twins stood guard, and Justin stood behind her, his eyes never leaving the man.

"I swear I don't know". He sobs, looking at her desperately.

Wren doesn't exactly remember when, or how she got into this position. Torturing people for her faction leader, she knows the pay is well, and she gets her privacy in her med bay.

She was the leader there, Max made sure of that. You see, Wren couldn't care less if she was brought down for such a job. It would ruin Dauntless, and more specifically ruin Max if the things she did got out.

To keep her mouth shut Max agreed to pay her double, give immunity to her team something she made very clear, if something went wrong and they were caught, the blame would fall strictly on her and not them. Something her team didn't know, and she hoped they never did.

Max also agreed to give her the med bay. He didn't go in there, he didn't ask questions as to what goes on in there. He made sure the other leaders abided with that rule as well. All was well in the world of Wren.

"You think I enjoy this". Wren waves a pair of pliers around.

"Trust me, I have much better things to be doing, but I'm stuck here pulling out all of your fingernails, and watching my friend back here break your bones". She jerks her head towards Justin.

The man shivered looking between them. "I don't have the answers you want". He tries again.

"I'm going to cut your fingers off now. Okay?". She grins, placing the pliers in their specific spot.

He shakes his head looking at Justin with pleading eyes. "No, no, no please".

"I'll start with your pinky". She explains lifting his hand up.

"Unless you want to tell me". Wren offers him one last out, when all he does is whimper she shrugs, and cuts his pinky off quickly, as if it was nothing.

His wails sent a shiver down her spine, and wipes the blood off her face. "I always enjoy that part". She whispers, almost in awe.

"You ready for the next one?". Her head tilts and the guy yells once again.

"How many times do I have to tell you silly. It's soundproof". She says in a mocking tone, cutting off the next finger.

"Here you go". Wren drops a file in front of a tired Max.
