Sarasa calls Larimar and Syde for a discussion. She tries to convince Syde to sabotage his own team because she knows he is in a safe position unlike Sarasa and Larimar themselves. Syde wasn't sure about it but Sarasa tells him to trust her and that she already has plans to take them to the final three. Syde decides to trust in her and they disband quickly so their teams won't find them suspicious. On their way, Larimar questions Sarasa's honesty as she had no plans whatsoever to keep Syde safe. She brushes it off, saying it's just how the game works.
Chaos meets Syde and tells him that he was listening to their secret alliance discussion this whole time and warns him that if their team loses, he will guarantee that Syde gets eliminated. Syde was shocked because he thought Chaos was a nice person since he defended him from Foil's accusations. Chaos fakes sympathy, saying that he shouldn't trust his "friends" so easily. He reveals that Sarasa was lying to him and she would easily betray him - so Syde has to either save himself from being eliminated or save Sarasa by sabotaging his own team. The fifth challenge is going into a haunted mansion. The two teams will face their biggest fears and the last person to run out from the mansion will win immunity for their team. Vill and Sarasa seems scared of the horror atmosphere so Foil tells them to suck it up. Larimar orders everyone to stay together but the sound of a mirror breaking made everyone disperse away from each other. The ground beneath Foil and Sarasa broke down, whereas a section of the wall flipped towards Vill and traps inside the wall. Larimar didn't risk his life saving anyone so he ran away, that was what he was used to.
On the other hand, team Lunar was going up the stairs. Sage saw a reflection of Moss in the mirror, begging to not abandon him again. Sage explained what they saw and tried to approach the mirror but Chaos stopped them - saying it's just the house playing tricks on them. Suddenly the stairs started moving in order to trip them, Sage lost balance and fell down the stairs. Before Syde could do anything, Sage fell into a disguised pitfall at the bottom of the stairs. Chaos tells Syde to come back but Syde jumps into the pitfall in an attempt to save them. With no way to rescue them, Chaos and Galaxy continue their journey. Galaxy finds a little spider on her dress and decides to keep it.
The contestants who got caught in a trap experienced their worst fears so the house can mentally weaken them. Sage dreamt of drowning as they have a fear of drowning. They couldn't take it anymore when the water came up to their neck and said that they give up. The house throws Sage outside, expelling them from this game.
Syde dreams about being hated by everyone, to the point his own brother doesn't want to see his face. It was too painful so Syde gave up and got expelled. Foil dreamt of the world drowning in discord and disorder because of a ruthless leader. When he tried to look for who the leader was, he just saw himself. He couldn't process the fact that he would become like the people that he was trying to fight against. This made him retreat the game. On the other hand, Sarasa managed to escape her nightmare and return back into the house. She dreamt of being outcasted by her academy and being forgotten by her friends (like Ness). Vill also managed to escape his nightmare which was being ridiculed by everyone and everywhere he goes. Constantly. The remaining survivors managed to get to the top of the staircase. There was a locked door and a deep well next to it. Galaxy deduced that the key might be inside the well and one of them should get it. None of them volunteered so Larimar chose to go down the well, supported by a rope. He went down and got the key but there was a huge spider that chased upwards (Larimar was scared of spiders). Everyone quickly pulled the rope before he was eaten by the spider, however the spider climbed out of the well. Larimar quickly unlocked he door and everyone went inside to barricade against the door. It was no use as the spider was too strong. Chaos suggested an idea to throw someone at the spider as a sacrifice, so Vill and Sarasa throws Chaos himself at the spider (because they both liked him the least). The spider devours Chaos and put him into a trance where he experiences his fear. He had the opposite fears of Foil. All Chaos saw were happiness, peace and order. A world with no problems, no betrayal, no drama and no heartbreak. A world of boredom, at least in his eyes. He retreated and got expelled as he couldn't survive his nightmare.
Galaxy was the only one of her team remaining. Suddenly a spirit appears as the "Lady of this house" and she promises freedom to whoever can answer her riddles. Sarasa gets the first riddle right and she ridicules Vill about his poor riddle knowledge. Vill started arguing with Sarasa again, interrupting the spirit many time. The irritated spirit directs spider webs at both Sarasa and Vill and gets them stuck in a trance. Sarasa gave up and gets expelled as she couldn't bear her nightmares anymore. Galaxy and Larimar were too good at riddles as they both were bookworms. However when it was Larimar's turn, Galaxy secretly placed the little spider that she collected earlier onto Larimar's head. This freaks him out and he screams instead of answering. The spirit took that as an incorrect answer and summoned another huge spider that devoured Larimar. Larimar quickly retreats as he does not want to experience his nightmares. Vill managed to break free from his trance again but Galaxy reminded him of how he will always end up alone because of his selfish nature. This puts him back in a trance and he finally retreats. Galaxy wins immunity for team Lunar.
Team solar was up for elimination.
Larimar wanted to vote out Foil but Sarasa convinces Larimar and Foil to vote out Vill with her because he was a threat in physical challenges. Vill tries to persuade Foil to vote out Sarasa. Foil was happy that he was in charge of the votes this time. Chaos intervenes and reveals to Foil about the secret alliance between Sarasa, Larimar and Syde. Chaos says that even if Foil gains Sarasa's trust by voting out Vill and joins her alliance, Foil himself will be the first one voted out when everyone else (other than the alliance) had been voted out. He suggests to break their alliance and join a new alliance with him instead. Even though Foil didn't like Chaos, he prioritised winning the game.
Sarasa and Vill both get 2 votes. It's a tie. The tiebreaker is a lie detector challenge and both of them will be asked embarrassing questions. If a player gets caught lying 3 times, they get eliminated. Sarasa didn't want to reveal anything about herself and would rather get the questions wrong but Vill decided to be honest with himself and answer questions truthfully. For example, he agreed with the fact that he sleeps with a unicorn plushie at night. He agreed that he was not a good person, nor a good friend. He agreed that sometimes, he did feel lonely and considered playing the game differently if it means mending the horrible things he did. Sarasa couldn't bring herself to reveal anything about her because she was too insecure and she cared about her image. Sarasa gets eliminated. Vill taunts her, saying that she should be more open with herself and she throws a vial at him.
Syde and Larimar escorts Sarasa to the elevator, who was furious about being eliminated. But mostly, she was frustrated because she had no one to blame but herself. Syde reassured her, saying that she did her best but Sarasa rejects his comfort and angrily storms away via the elevator. Larimar reassures Syde that she will calm down soon enough.
