Jimin grinned widely, looking at the familiar route to his parents' mansion as Jungkook drove along. It's been months since he last saw them, as they're mostly out of the country for business meetings. Yet, he never felt lonely or unloved as his parents always made time for him and his brother, despite their busy schedules. Now, after marrying Jungkook, Jimin is busy with his own life causing him to spend very little time with his parents.

"Did you buy that watch for your annoying brother?"

Jungkook asked, breaking Jimin’s thoughts. Jimin looks at him and shoots him a playful glare.

"Stop calling him annoying! He’s sweet, and yes, I did get him his favorite watch."

Jimin said with sternness as Jungkook rolled his eyes.

"Sweet and him? Really? That doesn’t go in the same line, baby. Do you remember how many times he disturbed our dates and c̶o̶ckblocked us."

Jungkook said, recalling the summer when he and Jimin were getting to know each other, and that little devil came to live with them. He didn't hate his brother-in-law; he just found him annoying.

Jimin laughed and playfully hit Jungkook's arm before stepping out of the car. Jungkook quickly followed, wrapping his arms around Jimin's waist to keep him from walking away.

"What are you doing?"

Jimin asked, blushing deeply and trying to remove Jungkook's arm from his waist.

"Stop being shy. I'm your husband, baby."

Jungkook said, leading Jimin toward the mansion. He smiled as he spotted his mother-in-law. Mrs. Park stood at the door, a huge smile on her face as she saw her son and son-in-law.

"Mom!"

Jimin exclaimed, wrapping his arms around her as soon as he reached her.

"My chimchim!"

Mrs. Park said, breaking the hug to cup his face and place a gentle kiss on his forehead. She misses her son so much.

"Mom, how are you?"

Jungkook asked, and Mrs. Park pulled him in for a warm hug.

"I’m doing well! And you?"

She replied, smiling.

"I’m fine, Mom. Where’s Dad?"

Jungkook inquired.

"He’s in the kitchen, preparing some special dishes for you both."

Mrs. Park said, and Jimin gulped, knowing his father is a terrible cook.

"Oh! I pray for our stomachs."

Jungkook joked, making Mrs. Park laughs before inviting them inside.

As Jungkook headed to the kitchen to help his father-in-law, Jimin settled into the living room with his mother and started chatting.

"I enjoyed hyung’s class, but he didn’t spare me a glance."

Jimin said, his cheeks turning into red, remembering what his husband had done to him after class.

"Hehehe… my poor son-in-law! I bet he was having a hard time to not look at you. By the way, has anyone given you a hard time at university?"

Mrs. Park asked, concerned, knowing university can be worse sometimes. Jimin shook his head, not wanting to worry her. He felt capable of defending himself if something worse can happen, and besides, Jungkook is always there for him.

"No, Mom. I even made a friend. His name is Yoongi. But where’s Jihyun?"

Jimin asked, pouting his lips slightly. He's very close to his younger brother, growing up together and sharing every secrets.

"In his room. You should go see him. I’ll be in the kitchen."

Mrs. Park said, heading toward the kitchen as Jimin made his way to Jihyun’s room.
