||the meeting||

You could feel something in the air as you entered the dining room once again.

Anxiety? Tension? Doubt? No, you decided. It rather felt like a shroud of mystery hung in the air, making hearts beat just a little bit faster.

There were still tables, and they were now facing the front of the room. Small pastries and assorted desserts were placed on them, ready for the taking. E stood at the front, in a dark purple dress that brought out her bright eyes. She looked determined.

You sat down, and as soon as you did, the meeting started.

"Hello, everyone. As you all know, I'm E. Esme Calista Ackerman, only living blood of Sir John Columbus Ackerman. He was the past head of the magic circle, and his wish is that it lives on. You," she said, looking around the room, "all of you, have Magic blood flowing through your veins. So I've asked you here to begin a new age of magicians, a new generation of the magic circle." She paused, taking a deep breath. She steeled herself.

"I'm going to explain everything. Everything there is to know about magic in this world. I know there are some new magicians, and some very seasoned ones. None the less, it's time we all learn what we're dealing with."
