Chapter 16

As always, it was the next week at work. Sana, Mina, and Yoongi all arrived early as usual. While they all work, Yoongi was wondering what was taking Jungkook so long to arrive. Suddenly, he heard the elevator door opening, revealing Jungkook and 4 coffees in his hand. Yoongi smiled at how much Jungkook loves to care about others,

"Hey Jungkook, I was wondering where you were," Sana said to him,

"I decided to bring some coffee's for everyone. It felt like a good day today!' Jungkook said, taking out the first coffee to hand it to Sana, then another to Mina. Jungkook then sat down,

"Here, hyung, there was this new menu at the cafe today, so I thought you might like this," Jungkook said, handing the coffee to Yoongi. As always, Yoongi smiled, bowing slightly to thank Jungkook. Yoongi took a sip of his drink, and Jungkook was right. It did taste very good. Today was a chill day for all workers. It seemed that the boss didn't assign anything new so you could finish what you needed and have the rest of the day to do nothing.

Jungkook and Yoongi were finishing the assignment their boss had assigned them, but while doing so, they made jokes with each other and giggling over anything small. Sana had noticed they always seemed to get closer. When they were walking to the cafeteria for lunch, Yoongi had almost fallen,

"Ah hyung, be careful! Here hang onto my arm so you don't fall again," Jungkook said, holding his arm out, Yoongi hesitated for a moment but just smiled and decided to take this chance. Sana and Mina walked behind them, looked at each other, and back at the two in front of them.

"Mina, their behavior keeps becoming more coupley every week. It's a bit concerning," Sana said quietly but loud enough for Mina to hear,

"I know, it is a bit weird to see Jungkook like this. These few past years, knowing him, he was never like this," Mina explained, Sana just nodded at her and looked back at the two in front of them.

"I think we need to investigate this further," Sana said, Mina agreed. When they sat down to eat, Sana decided to make her move there,

"Are you guys busy after work today? Want to go out for the night since we are all scheduled to come in in the afternoon?" Sana asked them. Yoongi looked over at Jungkook. He wouldn't mind going, but he wanted Jungkook to answer first.

"Well, sure, I have nothing going on. It sounds fun!" Jungkook said, Sana smiled and looked over to Yoongi. He just smiled and nodded, agreeing to go,

"Awesome! We can leave together after work then!!" Sana said very happily. After work, the four of them wondered if they should all go in one car and come pick up the others later or all go separately. They decided on the first option, they thought it could be easier and just stay near the area. They decided on going to a restaurant first. They all gathered in Jungkook's car and headed to the restaurant. It was a Japanese restaurant just 10 minutes away.

When they got there, they went inside, and the waiter seated them to a table for 4 immediately. Yoongi and Jungkook next to each other while Sana and Mina next to each other. They ordered a couple of different dishes to try. They were all pretty hungry, so they wanted a lot to eat just in case. While they were eating, Sana observed the two boys while making small talk to see how they maybe acted out of work. They acted almost the same, very clingy and very close.

When they were done eating, they all decided to go to the beach that was down the street. They all walked towards the beach and found a bench they could all fit in,

"Wow, the ocean is so pretty at sunset," Sana said, sitting down,

"It really is," Mina said, also sitting down,
Jungkook and Yoongi nodded while sitting down as well. They all were silent for a moment,

"Today was honestly a pretty good day," Sana said,

"Yeah, I agree, the weather is perfect, work wasn't difficult, never had a more simple day," Jungkook explained. The rest of them had agreed, Yoongi smiling while nodding. Yoongi pulled his phone out,

"I need to use the bathroom. I'll be back," Yoongi texted in their group chat together. The rest of them nodded, smiling, letting him go. Sana and Mina looked at each other. They decided to take this chance to talk with Jungkook about his feelings about Yoongi while Yoongi was gone.

"So Jungkook, I know you probably don't want to talk or hear this, but... you and Yoongi-nim have been way too close. Are you sure none of your feelings have changed about him?" Sana asked calmly, but seriously. Jungkook looked up at her, then back at the ground. He thought for a minute,

"Being 100% real, I am not sure, I was sure that I don't like him at all and just wanted to be close but these days, I just don't know," Jungkook replied,

"Jungkook, if anything changed, you need to find out quickly, the times I knew Jimin, he is very sensitive, this entire thing will hurt Jimin even more if you continue with these hidden feelings," Sana said very seriously making Jungkook sigh,

"I will, I don't want to hurt him either, but I am not sure about any of these feelings. I still need time, but I promise to figure this out," Jungkook said, and right at that moment, Yoongi had returned. The three of them smiled and waved at him as he took his seat again.

"Well, I think we should head back. It's been a pretty chill night, and I think we can save going to the bar another night," Sana said. Everyone agreed and got up to start walking to Jungkook's car. Jungkook dropped them all off to where their cars were parked. He said bye to all of them and headed his way home. While Jungkook was driving, all he could think about was his and Sana's conversation.

It was true. He didn't know what he felt for Yoongi, but he also knew that something did change between them. Jungkook decided to listen to Sana and find out as soon as possible how he felt for Yoongi. He didn't want to hurt Jimin at all, but if he had to in the end, he needed to be prepared. Jungkook started thinking of how to figure his emotions out. He decided that the next week at work, he would figure this out.
