Kayla and Kenny were once children from the same small, distant village. As they grew up, their world changed. Their nation was invaded by ruthless tyrants who sought to subjugate all. Faced with the threat, Kayla and Kenny. fled in a bid to reach the safety of the Kingdom of Melicuna. a region renowned for its protection from invaders. Sadly, they were spotted by the pursuing forces and fled further into the heart of the desert, a vast and lifeless terrain where they found themselves alone and stranded. Kenny and Kayla are two young people who accidentally found themselves alone in the middle of a huge hot desert, without means of livelihood and with a rapidly fading hope of survival. kenny slowly and clumsily make your way through the quicksand, continuing their journey into finding melicuna. Kenny has his map, in his right hand. Kayla looks exhausted, and every new step seems hard to her. "We have to find something..." Glancing back at kenny, she says in a low, extremely tired voice and continues to climb the sandy slope. After hours of wandering through the scorching hot sun, Kenny and Kayla finally see something in the distance - the faint silhouette of some tall object.
"Is...is that...?" Kayla squints against the relentless sun but it's hard to make out any details from this far. They head towards it, slowly but surely. As they get closer, the object becomes clearer - it's a large stone structure, rising above the otherwise featureless desert. It looks ancient and crumbling, battered by the relentless attacks of the elements for who knows how many years. They arrive at the base, its stones are hot to the touch but shade offers a slight reprieve from the sun. Taking deep breaths, they try to figure out what this place is. The structure is clearly some kind of ruin - it must have been a large temple or monument, but time and harsh conditions slowly eroded it. The entrance to the interior of the building has collapsed, but from what they can see through the narrow opening, the corridor behind is relatively cool. The change in atmosphere is sudden - the air is considerably cooler, even comfortable, and after the blaring heat of the desert, it feels like a breath of fresh air. Kenny and Kayla look at each other, their expressions mirror the faint hope they're feeling. unbeknownst, They walk through the ruined corridors, their footsteps echoing in the silence. Shadows shift with every turn, making the place feel eerily alive. Every now and then they see remnants of carvings and paintings on the walls, but none are clear enough to make out details.
Their hope begins to slowly dim as minutes tick by without any obvious signs of water. They tumble through the crunbling hole, falling into the darkness and landing hard on the temple floor, The impact leaves them both stunned and disoriented for a moment. When their vision clears. they find themselves surrounded by mysterious engravings and eerie symbols in an ancient language, the meaning of which is lost to them. The temple is in a state of disrepair and decay, with dust and dirt everywhere. The air is still and empty - it's clear no one's been here for a long time. "Are... Are you okay?" Kenny asks, his voice low. He tries to see Kayla in the dim light. Kayla, still trying to get her bearings, nods slowly in response. "Y-yeah... I think so." Her voice is a little shaky as she gets up and looks around, surveying the unknown surroundings. Slowly rising as well, Kenny helps Kayla stand. Looking into the shadows surrounding them, he tries to get a grip on what they've stumbled into. "This is... this is crazy. What is this place?"

They explore deeper into the temple, the feeling of being watched grows with every passing moment.
The ancient engravings and symbols start to become more cryptic and mysterious, their meanings a complete mystery. The corridors are labyrinthine and confusing, almost like the temple was made especially to trap them here. Darkness surrounds them, forcing the duo to use Flaming sparkling wooden torch they found, to navigate through the labyrinth in. As they delve deeper into the heart of the temple, they begin to notice faint whispers, almost like faint breaths or murmurs coming from the shadows. The sounds are so subtle they could almost be mistaken for their own breathing.... or perhaps they are just paranoid. Kayla shudders at the unnerving sounds. "Did you... did you hear that?" she whispers to Kenny, glancing at the shadows in the dim light. Kenny nods, swallowing a lump in his throat. "Yeah... I did. It's like... someone is whispering." His voice is low and cautious, his eyes scanning the surroundings, looking for any source of the sound. The sound of muffled whispers continues to echo faintly around them, barely audible except for the dead silence in the temple. Some of the words seem to be distinguishable, but in a language so ancient that they have no knowledge of it at all. Nevertheless, the whispers send chills down their spines, making their skin crawl in unease. They feel like they are being watched - no, not just watched, but as if they are being studied, as if some sort of being in the shadows is observing them from a distant. And yet, despite feeling so strongly observed, they see nothing. Suddenly, a loud thump is heard echoing through the silence, the sound almost too much in contrast to the quiet whispering they had heard minutes before. Kenny and Kayla jump at the sound, their eyes wide and their muscles tensed. They look around the corridor they are currently standing in, looking for the source of the noise. Yet nothing seems out of place, and there is no obvious answer to what was the cause. The corridor is quiet again, the only sound being their heavy breathing and the sound of their own heartbeat. For a few moments, the corridor is completely still, the silence so absolute that it feels almost suffocating. Then, a barely perceptible shuffling sound can be heard approaching them from one of the corners. It comes closer and closer, the shuffling sound of footsteps on the dusty temple floor growing louder and louder. Kenny and Kayla hold their breaths, their heartbeats accelerating as adrenaline pumps through their bodies. As they turn around yet another corner, they suddenly find themselves facing a dead end. A wall of limestone rises up in front of them, with no obvious way to continue further. They are trapped. They turn around, looking for an alternative route, and freeze dead in their tracks when they see the pursuer. Standing a short distance from them, the pursuer is revealed to be a tall creature, its figure silhouetted in the dusty dim light. *Kenny grabbed Kayla's wrist, his grip firm and uncompromising. * "We don't have a choice. We have to jump in." Kayla struggled against his grip, panic in her eyes. "No! No! I can't do it. I'm too scared. I'll die!"
Kenny pulled her closer, his voice stern but firm. "You won't die. I promise. I'll be right behind you.
Trust me." Despite her fear and resistance, Kayla could see the urgency in his eyes. The pursuer was approaching, getting closer and closer by the second. She knew that they had no other choice. She looked at the distant waterfall, her heart pounding in her chest. She was terrified, but she took a deep breath and nodded. She trusted him. As they fell, the air rushing past them so fast that it took their breath away, Kayla screamed from the top of her lungs. The fear and adrenaline were almost overwhelming, but Kenny's grip on her hand tightened, giving her a small sense of comfort in the midst of the chaos. As they emerged from the waterfall, they found themselves back on solid ground.
