Y/n stood behind the camera, adjusting her harness as she prepared for the next stunt. The crew was busy setting up the scene—a high-octane chase through a decrepit house. She took a deep breath, focusing on the movements she'd practiced countless times. Just then, she noticed Jenna, the lead actress, watching her intently.
After Y/n completed the stunt flawlessly, Jenna clapped enthusiastically, her eyes sparkling with admiration. "That was incredible! How do you make it look so easy?" she called out, her voice filled with genuine excitement.
Y/n shrugged, a little embarrassed. "It's all about practice. You get used to the falls after a while."
Jenna took a step closer, a playful smile on her face. "I don't know if I could handle all that falling. I'd probably just end up on the blooper reel!"
Y/n laughed, her heart racing at the unexpected attention. "It takes a certain level of crazy," she joked, not picking up on the flirtation.
As they chatted, Jenna leaned against the prop wall, making the casual stance look effortless. "You know, if I had someone to train me, I might just take the plunge. It looks like so much fun!"
"Really? You'd want to try stunts?" Y/n raised an eyebrow, half-serious. "You'd need to be ready for some bumps and bruises."
"Bring it on! I can handle a little pain," Jenna replied, her tone flirtatious. "Besides, I think it would be a blast to learn from the best." She bit her lip, watching Y/n's reaction.
Y/n chuckled, oblivious to the underlying meaning. "Well, I'd be happy to show you a few basics. It's all about getting comfortable with the falls, and I can teach you how to roll properly."
"That sounds perfect," Jenna said, her smile widening. "When do I get my private lesson? Maybe after filming today?" She stepped a little closer, her eyes lingering on Y/n's.
"Sure, I can do that!" Y/n said enthusiastically, still unaware of the subtext. "Just let me know when you're free."
As filming resumed, Jenna stayed close, occasionally catching Y/n's eye and giving her a playful wink. Y/n simply laughed it off, focusing on her job.
Later, during a break, Jenna leaned against the set's edge, twirling a prop knife. "You know, I've been thinking... if we're going to be training together, I might need to reward you somehow," she teased.
Y/n scratched her head, genuinely puzzled. "Reward? I mean, I'm just doing my job."
Jenna's flirtation was becoming more pronounced, but Y/n's focus on the stunt world kept her from reading the signals. "What if I treated you to coffee? You can tell me all your crazy stunt stories."
"Coffee sounds great!" Y/n said, smiling widely. "I know some wild ones."
As they wrapped for the day, Jenna approached Y/n again. "So, about that coffee... I really want to get to know the girl behind the stunts."
Y/n nodded, oblivious to the subtle hints. "Yeah, it'll be fun! I have some insane stories to share."
Jenna sighed internally, realizing Y/n wasn't catching on. "I'm sure you do. Maybe we can brainstorm some stunts together over coffee?"
"Definitely! Just let me know when you want to meet up." Y/n beamed, her enthusiasm apparent.
Jenna couldn't help but smile, determined to break through Y/n's obliviousness. "I will. I can't wait!"
As they walked off the set together, Jenna's heart raced
Jenna entered her hotel room, a bright smile on her face as she tossed her bag onto the bed. Melissa, her co-star, looked up from her spot on the couch, raising an eyebrow in curiosity.
