Chapter-29

Taehyung's POV

The only thing running in my mind is what is that Jungkook wanted to tell me, that too in person.
I was beyond curious but I had to stop myself from questioning him further.

While my mind wandered off, thinking about all the possible things he would most likely tell me in person and that's why I couldn't respond back to his messages.
After thinking for a long time i slept off as exhaustion took over and my eyes shut subconsciously.

Even though I had a lot of things going on in my head I had quite a good sleep.
Everyday I would wake up by myself but today Woo hyung woke me, and I woke up finally after multiple attempts.

Soon i freshened up and got dressed and went for breakfast only to see all of them full dressed and ready waiting for me to join them for breakfast.
I quickly joined them and apologized for the delay.
Then we ate our food in silence and then Mina said "Tae since the weather is good now we're planning to leave in an hour or so. What do you think? Is it fine with you ? Or should we stay back for a little longer ? Your decision is final here."

Then I was kinda confused, I liked the weather and the sea side here and would have been more than delighted to stay for a while longer but now that didn't seem important.
Right now what felt important to me was why Jungkook wanted to meet me and what is it that he wanted to tell me in person.

So I told them "Since the weather is good today I think it's better if we leave today. We can visit some other time and stay longer when the weather is good. What do you say Mom ?"

"Right, I also thought of the same thing. Next time I'll bring my younger one as well. He came home yesterday but since we are here he had to go back. He must have felt so bad. It had been months since we met almost many months ago.
I miss alot, I'm sure he misses us too ! Next time I'll make sure to get him as well "
Mina replied, she sounded sad and her eyes got teary as she spoke about her younger son.

I got up from my seat and hugged her and patted her back slowly, trying to console her.

Woo hyung looked at her and said " Enough of being sad, we'll go surprise him once we go back to Seoul. For now go pack your bags and other stuff since we planned on leaving today !"

He somehow managed to change the mood from sadness to something like hurry and chaos. And we were all a little out of the gloomy mood.

And soon we all finished our packing and we left to board the plane.
Once we entered the plane I dozed off as I was really tired.
We landed in Seoul after 2 hours and woo hyung dropped me off home.
Initially I had to come back by myself but since I had to go back alone and I was pretty tired and had nausea, Woo hyung insisted on dropping me off.

And after an hour of driving he dropped me off at my place and also handed me some tablets for the nausea and tiredness.

I went back home took the tablets and felt drowsy, my eyes were half open.
My eyelids felt heavy and it got difficult to keep my eyes open for long.
Then I dozed off subconsciously once the effect of the drug had peaked.

I slept for hours and woke up feeling fresh and warm. I saw my phone had about 10 voice calls from Jungkook and a missed video calls.
And about 10 messages from him.

I hurriedly called him first.

On the call.

Hello kookie ?

Taehyungie what happened to you? Why didn't you reply to my texts not answer my calls ?
Are you fine ?

Kookie I'm absolutely fine I just had some vomiting and later I felt really tired due to dehydration. That's all.
I took some tablets that's why I slept off and couldn't reply to your texts or answer your calls.
I'm sorry.

Tae !!! Are you fine ? Why didn't you tell me earlier ? I'm sorry I think i disturbed your rest .
You sleep and rest ok I'll come home later.

Kookie I'm totally fine now. Tell me why you called first is it something important? I came back to Seoul today in the morning. I'll come to your place if you want.

No no tae you're sick! Don't worry I'll come to your place ok ? That's final. And also I told you I had to tell you something right ! I'll tell you when I meet you today.

Oh....

Ya so rest up hyung I'll come home by evening or night.
Okay sleep well... Bye.

Call ended.

He felt his stomach churn. He didn't have a good feeling about what Jungkook was gonna tell him.
But he had to wait, wait till he listened to what Jungkook had to tell and then think about it.

Of course, time gives us the answer for everything which may seem like a mystery in the present.

So he laid down on the bed staring into blank space, preventing himself from overthinking but couldn't shrug off the uneasy feeling.
