"Did you know ketchup was sold in the 1830s as medicine"
"No, I did not" Raden looked at Astoria, with a smile on his face. He himself couldn't tell if it was fake or real. But he didn't care.
She had just unexpectedly came over and cooked dinner.
Which he didn't mind, but thought was also weird. He was use to spending his nights alone out on the belcony watching the rain, with a cup of coffee in hand.
But not this night. She smiled as she looked through her book, that interesting facts, poems and quotes.
Reading them to him, and then gushing over it for a few seconds before moving on.
He didn't mind.
'I didn't mind?'
Yes, you did not.
He found it quite interesting that he'd finally take in a liking of the presence of another person besides Nico.
He took a sip of his red wine, while waiting for her next fact.
But instead she closed the book and placed down.
"So how was your day? Any interesting things happening lately?"
"No, nothing interesting" Raden shook his head.
"Just the same old same old"
She chuckled getting up and gathering the dirty plates.
"Here let me help" Raden smiled.
Their laughter filled the kitchen, Raden handed her a cleaned dish which she dried up and stored away.
Since it wasn't too many dishes, they cleaned the kitchen up pretty fast.
"Thank you for the food. It was quite delicious" Raden said drying his hands.
Astoria looked at him and then smiled.
"I'm glad you enjoyed it."
"Well we're done here, shall I take your home?"
"That would be lovely"
It was around 10 when Raden was sat up in his office looking through reports and adding notes to his bullet board.
He took a sip from his cup of coffee, loosening his tie.
He thought back to all the papers that was found in Klaus's room.
The thought of typing it out seems like a waste of time.
But it could be beneficial.
He ran a hand through his hair, finishing off the last bit of coffee and placing It down on his desk.
The drizzle of rain started falling from the sky.
And a soft wind hummed on the hair making the leaves of the trees in his backyard rumble.
The desk lamp light shone dimly as the only source of light with in the office.
Along with the street light from outside.
He groaned, and wrote down the important keys he remembered from the pages.
And added them to the bullet board, and connecting them with red thread like he did we the rest.
He looked at the time and decided to put in some extra work.

"Hello, Raden" The all smiles woman said.
Raden nodded his head at her and quickly went to finish his groceries before she came over to talk to him.
He rounded a corner almost stumbling into her.
"Uh, Ms. Shorrt. Lovely to see you." He mentally cringed. He's never been annoyed by someone so much. But the only reason he kept shopping at this specific convenience store, is because he always gets thirty percent off for everything.
"Good to see you too. Anything I can help with?"
"No," he answered nonchalantly.
She nodded with a cheeky smile and headed back to the register.
He sighed and scratched his neck.
"Thanks for coming, see you again" the girl smiled and waved goodbye as Raden left the store.
He got back in his car stopped by a Cafe to get a free coffee and went to the station.
"Free coffee? For me? You sure now how to make my day don't you" Nicotine placed a hand over his heart.
"Who says it's for you?"
"Give me that, you drug addict" Nicotine took the coffee and started drinking it.
Raden only sighed.
He sat down with his coffee and looked at the daily news paper.
He grunted at the heading that said.
'SWINDON'S Best time detective takes a stroll through the streets'
Raden wondered if the man was busy with his own case, or if he's just here for vacation in the state of death.
There was a loud thumps and one of the their colleagues popped in.
"Sir, the captain wants to see you"
