Alarms blare in the background as the main character of our story stumbles down a seemingly never ending hallway. Once a maddening shade of white, now splattered with the blood of his captors.
For sixteen years they held him. Used him as a lab rat; their torture made him who, or rather what, he is today.
Abandoned as an infant, he was born to die.
And until now, that was his destiny.
But oh how stupid were they, forgetting to count the orange seeds spat onto the plate. If they had counted they'd still be alive today. However they didn't. Our friend snuck one under his tongue, essentially leaving his cell door...wide open.
And so, approximately 27 dead bodies lay upon the floor, their clipboards still in hand.
Dashing through the corridor to the best of his ability, his eyelids start to droop. As if his legs were made of lead, he collapses onto the tile. The boy is found three days later, the facility reeking of old blood and rotting fruit- among other rotting things. Tree roots grow through the cracks in the walls and floor, branches bursting through the walls, impaling whoever had been standing there, or rather running by there in terror previously. Seeing the suspended bodies hanging by their necks from orange vines growing out of the ceiling, the police decide that it was above their pay grade and contacted those who they knew could handle this human catastrophe.
But they had no idea what this skinny teenager really had in him.
But you will.
