A/N #1: Keep in mind that book was first made back when Maya was still at Haneoka, so if you see images from that, or her in her uniform, that's why.

Maya's POV
Today was the end of another busy school, and after this, I got to get over to the agency so I can get to band rehearsals. I wanted to make sure our assignment from earlier today got done, so I decided to stay in the classroom just a bit longer.
Despite how hard and long the questions were, it shouldn't be an issue for me to complete.
"Alright. Now that that's been done, I can get going to the agency." I said as I packed up my things.
However, as I was about to head out, something caught my attention. Or rather... someone caught my attention. It was Imai Lisa from Roselia. It seems like she had the same idea as me about finishing that assignment. But unlike me, she seems to be struggling a little bit.
So, being a good friend to her, I walked over to her to see if she needed any help.
"Hey, Lisa-san, do you need help with that assignment?" I asked.
"Ah, Maya. Yeah, that would be nice actually. I don't even know how to answer these last three questions." She replied as I sat down beside her.
"Alright, then let's see..."
_____________________________________________A few minutes later...
I did my best to explain the last few questions to Lisa, and how I was able to answer them. I was a bit worried that my explanations would fly over her head, but it seems like she was able to understand, and that made me feel less stress. At last, Lisa was able to finish the assignment. Once she was done, she lets out a sigh of relief.
"Phew! I finally got it done! Thanks so much for your help, Maya." Lisa said as she smiles at me.
"Yeah, it's no problem at all." I replied before smiling back at her.
"At least with this, I'll now know what to expect when I take the upcoming entrance exam." Lisa said.
"Yeah, me too." I said. "You said you wanted to go to Yotsuba Women's University, right?"
"Yeah! I hope to go there with Yukina and Rinko." Lisa replied. "And... you and Hina talked about going to Keiho Women's University?"
"Yeah, but... I haven't decided what I wanted to do there, though." I answered, chuckling nervously.
"Really? Same. Sounds like we both got some thinking to do." She said.
"Yeah, we do..."

Location - Riverside
Your POV
Today's sunset is absolutely beautiful, and this is definitely the best spot to watch it. I could look at it all day, and I know that the sunset has to go away eventually, so I better make the most of it.
As I stare at the sunset for a while I was unaware of someone right behind me and tapping me on the shoulder. I was definitely startled from it for sure, and when I turned around, I was surprised by who it was.
"Hey, we meet again, (Y/N)-san."
"Oh, Maya-san. Fancy seeing you here."
"Yeah, you as well." She grinned. "But please, no need to be so formal with me, especially since I now know we're the same age."
She was right about that. Ever since our first encounter at Edogawa, Maya and I would often meet up and spend our time getting to know each other. Aside from her being the drummer of Pastel*Palettes, I learned that she loves to work with music equipment.
Pastel*Palettes must be really lucky to have a drummer, band member and friend like her.
And what does Maya know about me? Well, not much aside from me being a third-year with two close friends. Well, one good friend to be exact. I haven't gone into too much detail about my life, but maybe I can... whenever I have the chance.
"So, Maya, what brings you here?"
"I had an off day today, so I came out to get some fresh air." She said.
"On top of that..." She went on. "I was thinking about college, and what I want to do when I get there."
"Really? Me too."
"Is that so?"
"Yeah. Whenever I have to make a tough decision, I would come here and look at the sunset for a while. It's very relaxing." I explain.
"I see. In that case, do you mind if I join you?" She asked.
I nodded as Maya sat down beside me. The two of us stared at the sunset for quite some time, but eventually, Maya closed her eyes and rested her head on my shoulder.
All I can do is smile, and not move an inch.
