The Italian Grand Prix at Monza was always a highlight of the season. The atmosphere was electric, with Tifosi fans cheering for Ferrari and the air filled with the scent of excitement and anticipation. This year, however, things were different for me. With a broken nose still healing from the incident with Max, I felt a mix of determination and vulnerability. As I walked through the paddock, I could feel the eyes of my fellow drivers on me. The bandages on my nose were a stark reminder of the confrontation, and I knew I couldn't avoid their questions forever. I took a deep breath, steeling myself for the inevitable interactions. The first to approach was Lewis Hamilton. His eyes widened slightly as he took in my appearance. "Charles, what happened to you, mate?"

I managed a small smile, trying to downplay the situation. "Just a punch."

Lewis frowned, concern evident in his eyes. "I heard about it. You need to be careful. This sport is tough enough without getting into fights."

"I know, Lewis," I said, appreciating his concern. "I'll be more careful."

Next up were George Russell and Lando Norris. They exchanged glances, their expressions a mix of curiosity and worry. "Wow, Charles, that looks painful," George said, his tone sympathetic.

Lando nodded in agreement. "Yeah, mate, you alright? Max can be a real prick sometimes."

I chuckled, despite the discomfort it caused. "I'll live. Just need to focus on the race now."

Logan Sargeant and Oscar Piastri joined the group, their eyes widening as they saw the state of my nose. "Damn, Charles, that looks rough," Logan said, shaking his head.

Oscar chimed in, his expression serious. "You should have reported him. This kind of thing can't keep happening."

I sighed, feeling the weight of their concern. "I'll deal with it. Right now, I need to focus on Monza."

Finally, Alex Albon approached, his brow furrowed with worry. "Charles, that's a nasty break. Are you sure you're okay to race?"

I nodded, trying to project confidence. "Yeah, I'm good. Just need to keep my head in the game."

The support and concern from my fellow drivers were touching, but they also reminded me of the seriousness of the situation. I needed to find a way to manage my emotions and stay focused on what truly mattered—racing.

As I prepared for the race, I found Carlos in the Ferrari garage, his eyes filled with concern. "How are you holding up, Charles?"

I gave him a reassuring smile. "I'll be fine, Carlos. Thanks for looking out for me."

He nodded, his expression serious. "Just remember, we're a team. If you need anything, I'm here."

The roar of the crowd and the hum of engines filled the air as the race began. I felt a surge of adrenaline, my focus sharpening. The broken nose was a reminder of the challenges I had faced, but it also fuelled my determination to succeed. As I navigated the twists and turns of Monza, I pushed myself and the car to the limits. The support from my fellow drivers and the camaraderie within the team gave me the strength I needed to keep going. The road ahead was tough, but with determination and resilience, I knew I could face it. Crossing the finish line, I felt a sense of accomplishment. The race had been challenging, but I had given it my all. The game had changed, but I was still in it to win. And with the support of my teammates and fellow drivers, I knew I could overcome any obstacle.
