Chapter 3:acquaintances

Bumble woke up slowly,her wings still wrapped around her like a blanket.She sat up and unwrapped herself from her wings.Her phone lit up,getting a text message from Angel.

"You're still visiting the hotel,right?" The text said.

"Oh shit,I did agree to do that." Bumble thought to herself.

"Yeah,I will. I'll be there eventually,just be patient" She texted back.

After she sent the text,she started getting ready.She put on her usual outfit and put her hair up in a high ponytail like she always does.Before she left,she grabbed a cigarette,lit it,and took a drag of it.

"Hey,what's the hotel called,I can't go to the hotel without knowing the name" Bumble texted to angel.

"Oh right,it's called the hazbin hotel." Angel texted back.

"K" Bumble texted.

Bumble started to walk to the hotel,using directions from her phone to navigate it.Eventually,she reached the hotel.

"Damn this place is big,not as big as the vee tower I think but still big" Bumble thought.

Bumble knocked on the door and waited for it to open. A girl in a red suit and had her hair in a low ponytail with two ponytail holders in her hair opened the door excitedly.

"Omghii'mcharlie,sonicetomeetyou!" The girl said so fast that it was hard to comprehend what she had said (Translation:omg hi I'm Charlie,so nice to meet you)

"Goddamn,you talk fast." Bumble said,causing the girl to let out a sad oh.

"Blondie,back up. She's the one I was talking about." Angel said,walking towards the door where bumble and Charlie were.

The girl named Charlie became excited again. "I know,but if she agrees then we'll have a second patron at the hotel" she said,backing up so bumble could walk in. Bumble walked in the hotel.

The hotel was mainly red with some aspects of green,gold,etc.

"This place is kinda nice." Bumble said.

"Yeah it is,just got a couple tears in the walls and furniture but besides that it's alright." Angel said.

Bumble looked at Angel. "If the princess of hell owns this hotel,wouldn't it have better funding? Because she's like rich?" Bumble asked.

Before Angel could respond,Charlie spoke up. "Well,my dad doesn't exactly know about this hotel and he's technically the one who is rich."

Bumble looked Charlie up and down. "So you're the princess?" Bumble questioned.

"Yep,I'm Charlie!" Charlie grabbed bumbles hand and excitedly shook her hand. Bumble retracted her hand from the handshake,clearly displeased by the immediate physical contact.

"You seem way too chipper to be the princess of hell." Bumble said.

"Oh thank you." Charlie said. "Let me show you around the hotel!" Charlie grabbed bumbles hand and started showing Bumble around the lobby. "So over here is the parlor where you can relax,talk, and it's where we also do exercises to hopefully get sinners redeemed" Charlie said.

"And I'm guessing I'll be forced to participate?" Bumble said.

"Well not forced but yes." Charlie said.

"What did I sign myself up to?" Bumble thought then was pulled again by Charlie,who was leading her to the bar.

"And over here is the bar,and the bartender is husk who is..." Charlie looked over the bar to see that husk had passed out with an alcohol bottle in his hand. "Well he's uhm,in his room" Charlie said and lied.

"Are you sure?" Bumble questioned.

"Yeah,and upstairs are all the rooms." Charlie said.

"Uh huh,couple questions." Bumble said.

"Oh well go ahead and ask!" Charlie said,jumping up and down. Obviously excited that someone was asking questions and actually interested in her hotel.

"If I stay here,I don't have to pay a fee,right?" Bumble said.

"Yes,you will stay here without paying. Your payment will be participating in the daily activities we do everyday." Charlie said.

"And when does it happen exactly?" Bumble said.

"We haven't really decided on a time frame to do the activities yet,nor started them yet." Charlie said.

Bumble considered it for a moment. "Well as long as this place is free and it means I don't have to live with Valentino then I guess I can stay here." Bumble said.

"Wait,really?!" Both Charlie and Angel said.

"Yeah,as long as this place is free and I get less shifts. Which does happen right?" Bumble asked to Angel.

"Yeah,it does." Angel said.

"Then this means I can crash here rent free basically." Bumble said.

"Yep." Angel said.

Charlie squealed and hugged bumble. "I'm so happy you accepted staying here."

"Nuh uh,nope,get off of me before I make you." Bumble said,clearly displeased by the physical contact again and pushing Charlie off of her.

"Oh sorry!" Charlie pulled away from Bumble. "I'll be right back,I'm going to get you a room key and alastor to magically make you a custom room." Charlie said before running off to get the room key.

"She really doesn't understand people's personal space,does she?" Bumble asked.

"Eh,she's just very excited that you accepted joining the hotel. Even if it's the same reason I'm here." Angel said.

"Maybe a little bit too much,don't ya think?" Bumble said.

"Maybe a little,but I've honestly seen worse." Angel said.

Charlie came back shortly after. "Okay, here's your hotel key and your room number is 777 which is on the first floor,seventh door." Charlie said,handing bumble the key.

"But if the room is 777,wouldn't it be on the seventh floor?" Bumble asked.

"The room numbers go by angel numbers." Charlie said.

"Ah,okay." Bumble said.

"I'll show you your room, follow me!" Charlie said and began walking upstairs,bumble following her.

Charlie led bumble through a hallway with mostly blank doors,the first door being 111 had a pink led heart on it causing it to illuminate. The door was obviously angels but bumble paid more attention to following Charlie.

"And here's your room! I'll let you see it and if you need me for anything I'll be in the lobby." Charlie said and went back to the lobby.

Bumble looked at the door with her new room. It's has illuminated vines on the door with green flowers like the ones on her hairclip. She put her room key in the door knob and turned it,opening the door.She entered her new room.

Her room was a beautiful sage green color. She had led lights that were also sage green. In the far right corner of the room was a full queen sized bed in sage green sheets with white pillows with a bedside table next to it. Upon her walls and even ceiling were vines. In the right corner of her room was a gaming computer with a comfy chair. She had a built in closet in her wall next to her gaming computer that was already filled with her clothes that were at Valentinos. Right next to her door on her left was a vanity with all her makeup she had at Valentinos. She also had a bathroom attached to her room on the right of her.

"This is like my dream room." Bumble said,walking over to her new bed and sat on it. Her bed was incredibly comfy which was better than the brick she had to sleep on at Valentinos. She laid down on her bed fully,thinking about what she had just agreed to.

Did she really agree to join a hotel about redemption all to get away from Valentino and not pay rent? Yes. Yes,she did. And she definitely didn't regret a single thing. Though she thought Charlie's idea was stupid and the girl herself was too,she still was glad that she didn't have to pay rent,or get sexually assaulted as payment.Bumble looked up at her ceiling. She could already sense that her time at this hotel was going to be a wild ride.
