Link and Ghirahim walked hand in hand along the edge of the forest. Ghirahim was going on and on about his new palace he was having built by the goblins. Link pretended to listen as he thought about what Zelda had told him the day before. The silver haired demon didn't even notice Link's absence from the conversation. He was ranting about how they used the wrong shade of purple for his wall with his narrow eyes staring straight ahead. The blond sighed in frustration. Ghirahim didn't even notice.
"What do you need that big of a palace for?" Link asked, his blue eyes shimmering with the beginning of tears. Ghirahim scoffed. "Well I'll throw parties of course, and I have to have a giant dining hall for that, and my room has to be peeerfect..." "You're not hiding an army are you?" Link blurted out. The demon stopped in his tracks, dumbfounded by his boyfriend's statement. The blond let go of Ghirahim's hand and shied away. Ghirahim laughed. "Why would I do that?" He asked, narrowing his dark eyes. "Well... I don't know. I figured you'd be mad that your master is dead... Plus Zelda's still alive and you don't have her power..." Link stopped talking, looking away. Ghirahim tilted his head up to view the sky, as if he were looking for Skyloft. "No. Not yet." He stated flatly. Link looked up. "Huh?" He asked, sitting down out of frustration. He had become too tired to argue much longer.
Ghirahim sighed, but didn't sit next to Link on the grass. "I figured we'd have a little more time before you started questioning me." He turned around as if he were going to walk away. Link grabbed Ghirahim's wrist to stop him. "Explain." The clouds began to drift in, covering the sun light. "I am angry, but not at you or Zelda. It's hard to explain" He jerked his hand, losing Link's grip and dissipated.
