Chapter Four: Funny Seeing You Here

Link sat on the ground next to Ghirahim, eating pumpkin soup. Ghirahim was going on and on about the new castle he was building. Link just nodded, thinking back to when he told Zelda he loved someone else. The next thing he knew there was something wet on his neck. Link jumped and looked around. Ghirahim laughed, putting his tongue back in his mouth. "Sorry, I had to get your attention." Link smacked Ghirahim lightly on the arm and went back to his now cold soup. Ghirahim looked at him exasperated. "Did you here me?" He asked again. "U-huh, a new castle, purple, cool." Link shrugged. "No Link! Someone is here." 

Ghirahim stood, pulling out his sword, which Link thought unnecessary. It was probably just some Earth species they haven't discovered yet. Link found himself very wrong. Ghirahim inched forward twords the tree line where the noise he heard had come from. When he got there, he laughed out loud. Link stood, confused. "What is it?" Ghirahim came back and laughed some more. Link took Ghirahim's hand, trying to calm him. Ghirahim laughed some more. Link just shook his head and went to the trees, finding Zelda. He stomped his foot in rage. 

"What in the name of the Goddess are you doing here?!" Link shouted. Zelda winced at his anger. "S-sorry I just wanted to see who you were in love with, b-because you wouldn't tell me, and now it's him... I-I thought I was just seeing things b-but he's real! I thought you killed him..." Link cut her off by covering her mouth gently with one hand. "No Zelda, he's good now. He was under demises control and means no harm now." He let her go and walked back to Ghirahim, who was still hysterically laughing. "What has gotten in to you?!" Link was furious at them both. He was mad at Ghirahim for making no sense, and mad at Zelda for coming here. He was mad that she came here, alone, without permission, and was spying. Link had already risked his life to save her once, and she would just throw that away. 

Zelda walked up to the two men cautiously, she didn't want to anger Link further, and didn't want to give Ghirahim a good reason to touch her. Ghirahim stopped mid laugh and stared at her. "Hello Goddess child." He spoke so calmly. "Are we all just children to you?" Zelda asked, putting her hands on her hips "Child..." He paused for dramatic effect. "Do you know how old I am?" He flipped his hair back to show his lack of wrinkles, but still implying he was old. She shrugged. "So it's funny seeing you here after darling Link here saved you." Ghirahim glanced at Link, who had his arms crossed. "Come now skychild, we won't let her get hurt, relaaax." Ghirahim put an arm around Link, implying to Zelda that Link was his. Link huffed and let Ghirahim hold on to him, mostly to get Zelda to leave. Zelda held her stance, refusing to leave.

Is Ghirahim implying that Zelda might get hurt again? Is he trying to tick off Link? Will Zelda stay, or leave? Not even I know where this is going!!!
