As usual Shree didn't hear his words and brought him in a dhaba. They were sitting on the chairs and were eating Aloo Parathas silently.
"Master Ji, Do you know why I always tell you to bring me with you?"
Her sudden words grabbed his attention as he frowned hearing her soft voice.
What was she talking about? He waited for her to proceed further.
"Kiyun ki hume baba ki bohot yaad ati hai" (Because I remember the days with my father while coming here)
A painful lump formed in her throat which she gulped down immediately.
"He used to bring me here with him when I was a little girl but after my father's death, kaka and kaki never took me anywhere with them. They didn't have a baby that's why I tried to be the one but failed. I always wanted to be their favourite child but they never cared. They always beat me and made me work but never loved me. I didn't have parents so I made them one but they never thought of me as their own child"
Tears came out of her eyes as she hiccupped remembering the days when her uncle and aunt used to beat her black and blue and abuse her. Still she never stopped loving them. They were her only family how could she stop doing for them.
He stopped eating and caressed her hair.
"It was not your fault that they never loved and cared for you. It was not your fault that they didn't value you. It was their loss not yours"
Rishiraj stated calmly but she remained sobbing hard.
"What about your mother?"
He suddenly asked as she stabled herself a little to answer him.
"Baba said, she died while giving birth to me"
Shree cried more as she couldn't see her mother for once.
"Don't cry, Shree. I don't like to see tears in your eyes, hmm!"
He wiped her tears and adjusted her hair which was coming on her face.
"Kya hum apse kuch pucche, Master Ji?" (Can I ask you something)
He nodded at her words.
