The room was dimly lit by the soft glow of the moon filtering through the thin curtains. Asahi lay on his side, curled up beneath the covers, his breathing shallow and even. His delicate features, framed by soft, dark hair, were relaxed, lost in the gentle world of sleep.

His bedroom was small and modest, filled with things that spoke of his quiet, introspective nature-sketchbooks on his desk, a few old novels stacked by his bed. The air was still, almost too still.

Outside, the wind whispered through the trees, rustling the leaves with a sinister undertone. Then, without warning, the stillness was broken by the slow creak of a window being pushed open.

Asahi stirred, his brow furrowing slightly, but he remained asleep. The air in the room shifted, growing colder, heavier. And then, from the shadows that stretched across the floor, a figure emerged.

The Ghostface.

THE GHOSTFACE named Jaehyuk , He was an urban legend, a figure told of hushed tones-a monster said to appear in the dead of night, a blood-stained scythe in hand, killing anyone he pleased. He had lived for thousands of years, his name whispered by terrified souls before they met their end. His mask, white as bone, covered his face completely, and beneath his long cloak, his movements were silent, predatory.

His eyes, glowing faintly behind the mask, fixed on Asahi's sleeping form.

For a moment, Jaehyuk stood by the window, his scythe gleaming faintly in the moonlight. The weapon was as ancient as he was, a mythical tool that had taken countless lives, the blade stained with the blood of his victims. He should have been filled with anticipation-another life to claim, another soul to feast on. But as his gaze lingered on Asahi, something else stirred within him. It wasn't the usual sadistic pleasure he derived from the hunt.

It was something different.

Quietly, he moved closer to the bed, the sound of his breath barely audible beneath his mask. Asahi's delicate features were illuminated by the soft light, his lips slightly parted, his eyelashes fluttering gently in sleep. He was... different. Beautiful in a way that Jaehyuk rarely encountered.

As Jaehyuk reached the edge of the bed, his shadow loomed over the sleeping boy, the blade of his scythe hovering near Asahi's throat. A breath, a single movement, and it would be over. He could taste the thrill of the kill, the satisfaction that usually came from ending a life. But his hand didn't move.

Instead, Asahi stirred again-this time waking.

His eyes fluttered open, confusion and grogginess washing over him for a moment before they locked onto the figure standing over him. His breath hitched in his throat. The room seemed to close in, suffocating in its darkness, as he realized the nightmare wasn't a dream at all. The Ghostface stood right before him.

Asahi's heart raced, his pulse thundering in his ears as fear gripped him. He tried to scream, but the sound caught in his throat, paralyzed by terror. Jaehyuk's glowing eyes met his, the mask giving no hint of emotion, only cold detachment.

"Please..." Asahi whispered, his voice trembling. His mind raced for a way out, for any way to survive the inevitable. There was no escape. He was trapped.

And then, an idea-desperate, but his only hope.

Asahi stammered, his voice weak but steady, " I'll do anything you say just please spare my life"

Asahi saw that The Ghostface was staring at his petite frame and when no other way of escape came into his mind he decided to give himself to The Ghostface.

"If you... if you spare me," Asahi's voice filled with terror and fear, "you can...Take my body. But don't... please don't kill me."

Jaehyuk's eyes narrowed, the faint glow intensifying. There was silence, so thick and tense that Asahi could hear the pounding of his own heart. The air was cold, and every breath felt like ice in his lungs. Time seemed to stretch.

Then, slowly, Jaehyuk lowered the scythe.

He tilted his head, considering the offer. It was unusual for him-this kind of plea. He was used to screams, to cries for mercy that fell on deaf ears. But this boy-this weak, fragile, yet insanely beautiful boy-was offering something else. A different kind of submission.

And Jaehyuk, curious despite himself, agreed.

Without a word, he moved closer, the cold presence of the Ghostface filling the room. Asahi, still trembling, could feel the entity's power, the otherworldly aura that surrounded him. He closed his eyes, tears slipping down his cheeks as he prepared himself for whatever horror was to come.

Jaehyuk's touch was cold, claiming him with a possessive ease. There was no warmth, no comfort. Only the chilling reminder that his body was no longer his own, and his body... belonged to this ancient, merciless creature.

Asahi didn't fight. He couldn't. He had made his choice-his body in exchange for his life. And in that moment, as he surrendered to the darkness that was Jaehyuk, the Ghostface spared him. For now.

But Jaehyuk wasn't finished with him. Not by far.

As the hours stretched on, Jaehyuk eventually disappeared into the night, leaving the room as silent and still as it had been before. But the terror lingered, seeping into every corner of Asahi's mind.

He was alive. But at what cost?

Asahi lay there, staring blankly at the ceiling, his body cold and his heart heavy. He had survived, but deep down, he knew-this wasn't the end.

Somehow Asahi felt that The Ghostface would return...

To be continued.......
