"Come on! Do better Pham!"

Hanni slowly exhaled as she follows her private instructor, her arms gracefully moving with her. She stands firmly on her toes hidden inside her ballet shoes while doing turns before putting her legs into a passé and her arms being in a first position.

"Beautiful!" Her instructor who's a middle aged woman claps as she continues to watch Hanni dance around the room. It was her daily routine.

As the classical music comes to stop Hanni was dismissed. She didn't hesitate to go straight towards her bag and take her water bottle and drink from it. The day was surely tiring but she has no choice knowing the selection for the upcoming performance in their school was near.

The door then opens revealing her mother with her wide smile plastered on her wrinkled face. Hanni smiled as she stood up walking to her mom giving her a small hug.

"How did it go, Hanni?" Her mom asked while slowly stroking Hanni's hair.

"I did well mum. I just need a little push so that I can keep this entire energy until the selection comes." Hanni sighed, grinning rather as she revealed her anxiousness.

"You can't think that way child. You need to get to that position no matter what." Her mother voiced while Hanni nod.

Her mom then smiled before leaving. Although it may sound like a sweet advice, still Hanni thinks the opposite. Her smile then fades as she returns to being the cold person she had been. Untying the lace of her shoes, her phone rings.

She was about to ignore it when she realized it was one of her friends.

"Yo! Pam!" Hanni rolled her eyes upon hearing the nickname her friend gave her.

"You know I hate it when you call me by that name Leeseo." Hanni sighed, giving her temples a light massage while still on the floor.

"Sorry! Haha, but I just called because I have a game right now and Haerin's here." A static voice was heard through the call resulting in Hanni flinching.

"Yah! Kang Haerin! Come say hi!" Leeseo cheerfully called their other friend.

"You don't need to call Hae—"

Hanni knew the two were chaotic if they were put in the same room and letting Haerin speak through the phone would mean more noise. Before she could even tell Leeso that it was okay, Haerin yelled at the phone greeting Hanni.

"Hey! Hanni!" Haerin was definitely eating something as she kept on chewing through the phone call.

"Damn it! Haerin do you want me to go deaf!?" Hanni scolded them while rubbing her ear.

"Uh, no?" Haerin furrowed a brow when Leeseo took the phone from her. "So? Are you going to come? The game's almost starting!" Leeseo reminds.

Loud cheers suddenly echo. The game was definitely starting resulting in the call ending. Hanni sighed deeply as she helped herself stand up with her bag sling on her shoulders.

It was a Sunday but still Hanni went to their school just to watch her friend's game. It was Leeseo's biggest joy since her parents never watched her play. Not once.

Hanni's hair was still damp because before she could arrive at the arena, she made sure to take at least a shower. Leeseo then told her to sit in front of the bleachers. Of course, beside Haerin. As she reached the bleachers, she roamed her gaze to search for her friend but due to the wide audience she couldn't spot Haerin.

Most of them were definitely Leeseo's fans.

Why did I even come here?

I should've stayed home.
