Bottle 8: A Bond Reforged!

Minaka is not on the verge of madness as the truth of why Isamu and Benitsubasa were weak was not because of Isamu but his Sekirei. Knowing this, the mad scientist had no idea Isamu and his friends were relaxing on the beach on his home turf. If that wasn't enough, Isamu managed to meet up with his old mentor, and they discussed Minaka being furious with him for losing to him. However, while Isamu was happy to see his old mentor, the young scientist still missed his first Sekirei.

It has been a few days since discovering the truth about Isamu and his newfound strength. Benitsubasa was seen putting on makeup and straightening her hair.

Benitsubasa: Deep breathes. It has been two months since you saw your Ashikabi.

Benitsubasa looked at a mirror before smiling and then doing a pose.

Benitsubasa: If I pull myself up, Isamu will have to take me back. Though, how will I be able to get him back to work for MBI?

Benitsubasa then thinks for a moment, but as she does, the door to her room opens up, and her partner, Haihane comes inside.

Haihane: Benitsubasa, are you ever coming out of this room today?

Benitsubasa: Don't you know how to knock!

Benitsubasa yelled at Haiane, who just rolled her eyes.

Benitsubasa: I will get out. Okay, for goodness sake, don't you know that looking beautiful takes time?

Haihane: Why would you need to look beautiful? Its not like you have anyone around here you want to impress. I mean I guess the Boss, but I doubt he'd care if you put makeup on.

Benitsubasa gritted her teeth before glaring at Haihane.

Benitsubasa: Like you are one to talk, you don't do anything to make yourself look appealing?!

Haihane smirked and puffed out her chest, making the pink-haired Sekirei mad.

Benitsubasa: You claws for hands bitch! That is a low blow even for you?! Just because I have a small chest doesn't mean I can't look sexy!

Haihane: Oh, why are you getting so bent out of shape? It's not my fault you need to prove something to no one.

Benitsubasa gets more mad and just glares at Haihane.

Benitsubasa: Just get out. I will be done soon. Leave!

Benitsubasa yelled at Haihane, to which the silver-haired Sekirei just shrugged and left the room. Once gone the Sekirei then comes down but as she does she then turns to her nightstand and walks over to it. Benitsubasa then sees a picture of her and Isamu both looking happy, like a couple. Benitsubasa then picks it up before hugging it.

Benitsubasa: I will make things right, Isamu. I promise you that much.

Benitsubasa then puts the picture down and then leaves her room. As she left her room, the Sekirei was seen walking through the halls, trying to keep focus.

Benitsubasa: Stay focused, Benitsubasa, find Isamu and apologize, and hopefully, he takes you back.

The pink-haired Sekirei continued to walk, but as she did, she wasn't paying attention and bumped into Edogawa.

Benitsubasa: Mr. Edogawa I am sorry! I wasn't paying attention properly.

Edogawa: It is quite alright, Benitsubasa. How are you today? I know yesterday's meeting must've been rather tough on you.

Benitsubasa sighs before nodding her head.

Benitsubasa: I was after hearing the truth, though it just broke me. I was neglecting my duties as a Sekirei. I prided myself as one to Isamu, but then, when I took up being part of the Disciplinary Squad, I stopped doing my duties. Isamu knew how much I wanted to do this and put his feelings aside. I need to make things right with him.
