Juniper's pov

I pace. Back and forth in my small hotel room. My feet likely making marks in the carpet for how long I've been pacing. 

He shouldn't be here. 

Kai- the one person I would call an enemy is here tonight at my big night. Tonight is the launch of my new company and now he decides to show up? Fuck him. 

"Pip, it'll be okay" 

I spin, facing my best friend Sage. My heart can't keep up with the heavy beating it's doing causing me to feel lightheaded. 

"It's my night! Why is he here to ruin it!" 

Pulling on my hair I try to calm myself down. If he wanted to play then i'd play. 

"Help me?" I give Sage a look, pleading with her to help in my plan. It works even tho I know she would help me even without any look. It's what best friends do after all. 

"What's the plan bestie?" 

We both get to work pulling together my plan. I look fucking gorgeous. My midnight hair cascades down my back in beautiful curls, my blue eyes radiating with the smoky eyeshadow I have on. My lips lift into a smirk, this night won't be about him. All eyes will be on me as they should be at my event.

"Girls, It's time" 

Hand in hand we walk into the main hall. Our bodies are sculpted by our ballgown clinging to our bodies. My dress is black to match my makeup, floor length with a slit on the side exposing my legs up to my thigh. My breasts are mostly exposed if not for the fabric that starts just above my navel running up and splitting into two pieces to cover my nipples. It's an off-the-shoulder dress but I can't deny it's beauty. And never can the people at this event, their eyes tell the story their mouths don't. 

All in all the event goes better then I could have expected it to go with Him here. He tried a couple times to strike up a conversation with me but Sage was on hand to stop him before he could get any further in ruining my event. I need to treat her as a thank you for tonight. 

We're just getting ready to head out of the event when I notice my investors around the corner. Backing up my stuff I shuffle out the door and start walking down the corridor. I don't make it far before a glove-covered hand is covering my mouth, dragging me backward into a dark room. 

I scream trying to kick at the mystery person who has me in a tight hold. My foot pulls forward ready to aim right between the legs when a voice I know all too well suddenly speaks. 

"I wouldn't do that if I was you, Juno" 

My blood freezes, turning to ice at the familiar voice. The nickname gives him away instantly. 

"Fuck you! Fuck you let me go!" I scream, my voice muffled by his hand.

"You really think I'm going to let you go?" He questions. What kind of sick games is he playing now? Was trying to ruin my night not enough for him. 

"You walked around tonight wearing a dress like this. Showing your body off to everyone like you aren't mine." 

What the fuck-

"I'm not yours! I don't belong to anyone but if I did it wouldn't be you!" 

I raise my foot back up and aim. My foot goes flying backwards kicking him in the thigh. It's enough for him to release my mouth as he grunts in pain. 

"You are mine" He grits out through clenched teeth. 

"No Kai, I'm not. I never have been and never will be" 

The storeroom lights flicker on. The room glows in an orange light which adds warmth to his already tanned skin. His dark hair is slicked back while is stubble is as neat as ever. 

He smirks. It's all dangerous and not the least bit welcoming. "Oh no?" 

"No."

"So your body doesn't react to me?" 

"N-no" It doesn't. My body is flushing for completely different reasons. 

"Really? So if I was to slide my hand down...between those thick thighs...you wouldn't be wet for me baby?" Fuck him. 

I press my thighs together trying to ease the pressure there. Unfortunately, he notices. The smirk on his face growing wider until it forms into a grin of sorts.  

"Does rubbing your thighs together help? Can't get the image of my dick out of your mind, the feeling of it deep inside of you out of your perfect pussy" My breath hitches at his words. I hate him. He hates me just as much. We were once perfect, absolutely in love with each other but now there was nothing but hate. 

Kai moves closer to me. His body fills up the space in a way I feel I can't breathe. 

Gloved-covered hands take hold of my hips, pinning me in place by the wall behind me. My eyes lift up to meet his. "I hate you," I tell him, venom dripping from my tongue meant to hurt him. 

"Good. Because I hate you too"

It's in that same moment he spins me around, bending me over the washing machine they have stored in here. Kai flips up my dress before his hands reach back for my panties. It all happens too fast. Our bodies clashed as he unbuckled his belt, loosens his dress pants and lines himself up.

One of Kai's hands releases my hip before curling itself into my hair. He lifts my head up to meet his gaze. His eyes are void of any other emotions apart from lust. No hate resides in his eyes in this moment.
