there was a school trip to a campus, but the students had to stay in a hotel for a few days before going, and you were heading to your room, only to find your enemy.. Leo, on a bed.. And the problem is, there's only one bed

"wait, what are you doing here??"

you asked, and he looked at you, rolling his eyes

"you've got to be kidding me.."

You stood frozen in the doorway, your heart racing. Leo, your long-time rival, sprawled across the single bed like he owned the place. The sun streamed through the window, illuminating his tousled hair and the smirk that was all too familiar.

"Seriously, what are you doing here?" you repeated, trying to sound more assertive than bewildered. This wasn't how you imagined your school trip would go. In your mind, you'd envisioned nights filled with laughter and bonding with friends—not sharing a cramped hotel room with someone who would gladly trip you on the way to the cafeteria.

Leo stretched, his arms above his head, giving you a fleeting glimpse of his toned physique. "I could ask you the same thing, but you know what? I don't really care. This room was assigned to me, and I'm not leaving. You can take the floor if you want."

His casual tone only fueled your irritation. "As if I would sleep on the floor. I'm not going to just let you take over like this!" You stepped into the room, crossing your arms defiantly.

"Oh please, it's just one bed. We could make this work." He leaned back against the headboard, an infuriatingly confident grin spreading across his face. "Or we could just fight it out right now."

You rolled your eyes, feeling the heat rise to your cheeks. "Fight it out? Really? We're not in some cheesy teen drama."

"Fair enough," he chuckled, the sound sending an uninvited chill down your spine. "But we both know that neither of us is going to back down. So what's the plan? Rock-paper-scissors for it?"

You considered your options. Staying civil seemed impossible, but then again, was it really worth it to get into a full-blown argument? Besides, you could always pull the "I'm the victim here" card later.

"Fine, we'll flip a coin," you suggested, pulling out a quarter from your pocket. "Heads, I get the bed. Tails, you do."

"Deal." Leo leaned forward, intrigued. "But you do realize this is just delaying the inevitable, right?"

"Maybe," you replied, tossing the coin into the air. As it spun, you both watched, tension thick in the air.

When it landed, it bounced slightly before coming to a rest. You leaned down to check—tails.

"Looks like I get the bed," Leo said smugly, but you weren't about to let him have the final word.

"Not so fast! We could still share. I mean, we'll just have to keep our sides separate. I'm a great sleeper, I promise."

"Uh-huh, sure," he laughed. "Or we could actually sleep like civilized people, you know?"

You sighed, resigned to the fact that for the next few days, you'd have to coexist with Leo in the same room. What could possibly go wrong?

As you begrudgingly settled into your side of the bed, the reality of the situation hit you: you were sharing a bed with your enemy. This trip was going to be a lot more complicated than you had ever anticipated.

he smirked as you settled on your side of the bed, looking at you as he leaned back on his side of it

"So, we're really doing this, huh? Sharing a bed with me must drive you crazy, don't it?"
