I'm a detective, my name is Kacy. I've been in the detective scene since I was little. Codename Sparkle. Yes, Sparkle. Since I was pushed into the detective scene so young, little me had chosen the code name Sparkle. My coworkers make fun of me every day for it. I'm now 19 years old. They scouted me out when I was young because I was very punctilious.
Recently a tea shop opened up in Staten Island, New York. The owner Daisy was a beautiful black hair young lady. She was around my age. No one knows where she came from, I found no records on her. Daisy Minges. Huh.
Our boss had called a meeting. Recently he has been gnawing about this tea shop. I honestly had not seen anything wrong about it. It had seemed very innocent and the owner was so genuine and kind. My boss pulled out some records and showed them to me. Famous celebrities died hours after drinking tea from Daisy's tea shop.
The police paid no attention to this as the death dates of these people were spread apart by months. The police said the people had lapsed, collapsed, and died. They didn't deem Daisy and her shop suspicious but the boss was craving a stop to these deaths. He was afraid his daughter would fall victim to this as she loved to go by Daisy's daily. His daughter was merely a high school girl and not famous at all but he was still afraid.
This tea shop immediately engrossed me. It had taken up all my attention. I wanted to know the secrets. I wanted to know the reasons. I wanted to know the intentions of Daisy, if anything was even going on. My boss then asked if anyone was willing to take up this case. My hand immediately shot up. I had taken the case!
A couple days pass and I decide to go investigate. I dress in nice attire. I had put my brown hair in two low pigtails, fixed up my bangs, put on a nice black shirt and a nice skirt. I then went to visit the tea shop during its busy hour. I enter the tea shop and a group of girls walk past me.
"That tea was as sweet as chocolate! Mmmm !! Yummy!" One girl giggled.
"I got a tea as cold as ice! It was still super good! Try it next time, it was the icy miracle tea!"
I walk inside and take a seat.
The place was ran by Daisy and Daisy only so there was only a couple of tables. It was a small cute shop. Daisy walks up to me. She smells just like fresh flowers, her black hair flew beautifully behind her.
"Hi dear! Aw your cute! Your eyes are so pretty!" She smiled.
My heart fluttered. No one really compliments me, this was a change.
"Oh.. um thank you!" I smiled back.
"How old are you sweetie?" She said as she placed down a small plate with bread on it.
"I'm 19." Daisy's eyes widened.
"19?? Geez! You look like a sophomore in high school! I'm so jealous! Your so young looking and beautiful! It's great to have someone my age come here! I'm 20. Those girls that just left were pushing my buttons. Damn high schoolers don't know manners." She pouted.
I giggled.
"I won't cause any trouble." Daisy then handed me a menu.
"I'll come back in 5 minutes, let me know what you'd like to order!" She then walked away and went to go serve another customer.
I settled on a new limited time tea called summer paradise and a special homemade slice of pizza. Daisy came back to take my order. She walked so softly just like a bunny. It was adorable! It fathoms me how my boss thinks this sweet girl is capable of such murder. She hopped into the chair next to me and pulled out a notepad from her apron. She was a beautiful sight.
