Leo, recognizing Sophie's potential and wanting to support her new role, decided to provide her with an advance.

Leo: "Sophie, I've decided to give you an advance on your salary.

Sophie was taken aback by the gesture, feeling both grateful and a bit overwhelmed.

Sophie: "Thank you, Mr. De Luca. I appreciate it.

Leo nodded, appreciating her determination. He knew that building trust and confidence in their working relationship would take time,

Sophie gathered her study materials, determined to stay on top of her responsibilities and improve her skills. As she organized her books and notes, Victoria walked in, curiosity etched on her face.

Victoria: "What are you up to, Sophie?"

Sophie glanced up, maintaining a composed demeanor.

Sophie: "Just preparing some study materials. I want to make sure I'm ready for any tasks that come my way."

Victoria approached Sophie with a seemingly kind offer.

Victoria: "Why don't you take a rest, Sophie? I can handle all the work. You just need to relax and get your salary."

Sophie raised an eyebrow, sensing an ulterior motive behind Victoria's words.

Sophie: "I appreciate the offer, Victoria, but I'd rather stay involved and learn the ropes. I want to make sure I'm fully contributing here."

Victoria fumed internally, her thoughts swirling with frustration and jealousy.

Victoria: (thinking) "Why can't she just leave Leo alone? She's trying so hard to impress him and she's getting in my way."

She clenched her fists, determined not to let Sophie outshine her. The rivalry between the two women was growing, and Victoria was resolute in her desire to maintain her position and influence over Leo.

Meanwhile, Sophie, unaware of Victoria's inner turmoil, focused on her tasks,

Sophie struggled with her emotions. She couldn't shake off the resentment she felt towards Leo, but she knew she had to endure it for the sake of her studies and survival.

Sophie: (thinking) "I hate being here, but I need this for my education and food. I have to stay focused."

After a long day filled with tasks, Sophie settled into her room, trying to relax. Meanwhile, Leo was in his study, maintaining his gun and bullets. Feeling the need for a bit of amusement, he decided to call Sophie.

Leo: "Sophie, come here for a moment."

Sophie, slightly apprehensive, made her way to Leo's study. She stood at the door, unsure of what to expect.

Sophie: "What do you need, Mr. De Luca?"

Leo looked up from his work, a playful glint in his eyes.

Leo: "Just wanted to see if you're settling in alright. How's your first day been?"

Sophie felt a mix of irritation and curiosity. Despite her frustration with the situation, she knew she had to remain composed.

Sophie: "It's been... interesting, to say the least. I'm still adjusting."

Leo nodded, appreciating her honesty.

Leo: "Good. Keep up the hard work. You'll get the hang of it."

Sophie looked at Leo, still feeling a mix of emotions.
