Ren is still standing in the flower field and starts to think about his past and how he got arrested in the first place. He notices Sunny is gone before he can get deeper into his thoughts and returns to the flower shop. Once he gets to the shop, he sees Sunny sitting in her chair, deep in thought, as if she heard bad news; she is so deep in thought that she doesn't notice Ren walking into the shop. "Hello, ma'am, you there," Ren says, staring at her face. Sunny does a double-take before realizing Ren is in the shop. "Sorry, I was just thinking about something." She says straightly. "But here is something for you," she continues. Sunny pulls out a box and hands it to Ren. "It's not much, but this is what I could get you most. Thanks for not causing any problems," she says calmly. Ren opens the box to find some large goggles.

"Thanks, I guess?" Ren says, confused. "Can't you be a little more grateful?" Sunny says, letting out a sigh. "I know that this is out of your comfort range and all, but thank you for not being a dickhead." Ren says sincerely. The room grows quiet for a bit before Sunny breaks the silence and says, "You know that was pretty cheesy, right?" she says, mocking Ren. "Alright fuck you then," Ren responds sourly as he heads upstairs. Sunny leans back in her chair, murmuring to herself. "This is only going to get more difficult, isn't it."

A few days go by; Ren wakes up yawning loudly, then heads to the bathroom to find a barely clothed Sunny. She is only wearing a tank top and underwear. He turns around quickly in embarrassment. "Oh, so you do have manners," Sunny says, brushing her mouth. "Can you please just put on some clothes," Ren responds. "Oh, stop being a big baby. It's not like I'm naked or anything, "she says, walking towards Ren. "Yes, you aren't naked, but you are damn near close," Ren responds-Sunny sighs before leaving the bathroom and heading to her room.

Ren tries his best to focus on brushing his teeth before he hears a loud commotion coming from the store. He rushes downstairs to find a peculiar Russian woman with emerald green eyes. "Who are you?" Ren says to the woman. Before he can get a response, Sunny comes downstairs to confront the woman. "You are late," Sunny says while walking up to her. "I am late, but I still arrived, no?" the woman responds. They exchange a long stare before giving each other a firm handshake. "So what makes the leader of the Russian Mafia come all the way out here?" Sunny says while walking to her chair. "I need your help for a fight, Sunny," the woman says with a serious tone. "You know I am retired, Daria." Sunny replies with a glare. "This is the last thing I will ask you for help with," Daria exclaims. "You said that last time, too." Sunny replies. The room goes silent as if both of them were about to use their hands instead of their words. Before the tension could escalate, a man in a suit walks in. "Vito Daria, we are short on time; Ronan is catching on," he says sternly. Daria sucks her teeth with annoyance and heads out of the shop while the man in the suit follows.

"Who was that Sunny?" Ren asks, concerned. Sunny refuses to respond to the question as the same blank expression from a couple of days ago is painted on her face again. As Ren tries to question her yet again, he is interrupted by a rowdy police officer. "Where is she?" Ronan asks Sunny after storming into the store. Sunny ignores the question, but Ronan gets annoyed, grabbing Sunny by her collar. "Where is she, Sunny?" he says while lifting her out of her seat. Sunny stares blankly at Ronan in anger. "Put her down now," Ren says, tackling Ronan. "You stupid fucking kid!" Ronan yells while kicking Ren away, making him crash into a shelf stocked with flowers, and the shelf falls on him. "You are protecting that bitch again after what she did?" Ronan questions Sunny. Sunny looks away from Ronan's angry gaze, but Ronan keeps pressing. "She took my wife from me, Sunny. Why are you protecting her?" Ronan says, stomping towards Sunny. Sunny looks up at Ronan, who seems to have an indescribable red aura surrounding his body. "You haven't changed at all; you think people are owed favors 'cause they helped you once. That's why Falcon died." Ronan says harshly. Sunny's calm demeanor shifted from one of passive intent to one of bloodlust as she kicked Ronan in the knee and bent his leg backward. Ronan holds his voice to not let out a scream as he holds his broken leg. Sunny looks down at him and then lets out a sigh. "I cannot help you, Ronan," she says blankly while heading back to her seat. Ren manages to get out from under the shelf and helps up Ronan. "Take him out of here," Sunny says coldly. Ren helps Ronan get back to the police station. "Why are you mad at Sunny? Ren asks while carrying Ronan. Ronan takes a second to calm down. "Sunny is someone that both worlds can get to; she is truly the most neutral person I know," Ronan says. "But the person she helped killed my wife in cold blood; she took her and my potential baby boy," Ronan says as his eyes start to water. "I just don't understand why Sunny would help such a heartless person." Ren looks at how distraught Ronan is and proceeds to keep quiet the whole way to the police station to not cause him any more pain.

As they arrive at the station, Ronan leaves Ren with a piece of advice. "I don't expect you to take a side here. You haven't been here more than a week anyways, but please, if you could find out what Sunny has been doing before you come to a conclusion," he says, stumbling into the station. Ren starts heading back to the shop, deep in thought. 'If Sunny was helped by that lady, why would she keep it quiet like this.' Ren thinks to himself and realizes that Sunny hasn't told him anything about herself since she has been here. As he comes to the realization, he takes a look toward the shop to find a helicopter leaving from the shop's general direction. Ren starts to panic and sprints up to the flower shop. By the time he gets there, he is too late. "SUNNY!" Ren yells at the top of his lungs but gets no reply. She is nowhere to be seen, but he finds a note on the checkout table. It reads, 'I know you have a lot of questions for me, but I promise you I will explain everything when I get back; I already told Akira I left, so he will be coming over to help you watch over the shop, so just behave yourself until then.' Ren left stunned by the note but even more stunned at the fact she left without giving a proper goodbye. "I don't know how to take care of the plants," Ren says sarcastically.
