Ayan and his group were well on their way, excitement brimming as their train sped toward Delhi. It was a lively journey, with Ayan, his two male friends, and three female friends cracking jokes, sharing snacks, and planning every moment of their Goa adventure. As the train rocked forward, he smiled at the thought of the "secret" plan to detour in Delhi and switch to a different train—his parents thought he was bound for a Shimla trip, but he had other ideas.
Meanwhile, in another corner of India, Elena and her friends were also preparing for their journey. Accompanied by her three close girlfriends and her cousin, Sam, who was more of a brotherly figure to all of them, Elena packed her camera and some travel guides. She was eager to capture every moment of their trip, starting with the bustling streets of Delhi. Each friend had their own ideas for their adventures, making this trip as exciting as it was diverse.
Hours later, both groups arrived in Delhi, only a few hours apart. Eager to explore, they each made their way to India Gate, drawn to the heart of Delhi's energy.
On the open plaza by India Gate, Ayan's group was enjoying the street food, taking goofy photos, and goading each other to try unusual snacks. The afternoon sun cast a warm glow, perfect for pictures, so Elena, a few steps away, was thoroughly occupied snapping photos from different angles. Her friends teased her, calling her "The Camera Queen," but she just waved them off, laughing as she adjusted her lens.
As if orchestrated by fate, Priyanka and Sam accidentally bumped shoulders. Both turned with startled laughs.
"Oh, hey—didn't see you there!" Priyanka laughed, then did a double take when she recognized Sam. "Wait, Sam?"
"Priyanka!" Sam grinned, equally surprised. "What are you doing here?"
Before long, the cousins were catching up, introducing each other to their friends. Soon, Ayan's group and Elena's had formed a lively circle, with everyone chatting and sharing stories. Ayan joined in, laughing at Priyanka's tales about family adventures and nodding as Sam talked about their planned trip to Kedarnath.
Just as the introductions began to wrap up, a small stray dog wandered into the group, barking unexpectedly. Startled, everyone took a step back. Priyanka made a mock-serious attempt to calm the dog, jokingly saying, "Alright, guys, let me handle this."
Ayan couldn't resist adding his own theatrics. He stepped forward, holding his hands up as if in some grand gesture. "Stay calm, everyone! I am the dog whisperer!"
But the dog had other ideas. Barking even louder, it charged at him, sending Ayan stumbling backward, trying to dodge and tripping over himself, much to the group's amusement. His friends laughed, some taking videos while the others clapped mockingly.
Just as everyone's laughter began to die down, a camera bag fell out of nowhere, swinging down from above and landing squarely on Ayan's head. He stumbled, his vision blurring slightly from the unexpected hit.
"Ah! What...?" Ayan muttered, wincing as he tried to steady himself.
Through the blur, he saw a figure lean over him. The girl's silhouette was soft, with waves of hair falling around her face, and though he couldn't make out her features, he noticed a cross glinting softly against her chest.
"Oh my gosh, I am so sorry!" she exclaimed, her voice full of genuine worry.
Ayan squinted, still dazed as his friends quickly moved to support him. They laughed but were concerned, urging him toward a nearby clinic to make sure he was okay. And as he was led away, still half-dizzy, all he could think about was the girl's voice and that glimpse of a silhouette as she leaned over him
They take him into the car to take him to the hospital. He wanted to see her someone who has so much beautifull and sweet voice but he couldn't. the last thing he heard from her was"Are you okay ?"
