Author's pov
Taehyung came out of the school and saw Jimin standing there and waiting for him, he went to Jimin and said "let's go".
"Sooo... How did it go?" Jimin asked and Taehyung smiled a fake smile.
"He rejected me chim... I saw it coming" Taehyung said and Jimin frowned. He looked at Taehyung and saw how red and puffy his eyes were.
"my baby" Jimin whispered before hugging him.
Taehyung couldn't hold it in anymore, he just started sobbing on jimin's shoulder. "You s-aaid it will m-make me f-feel better... It didn't chim... It hurts... It hurts so m-much, he... He said... He said.." Taehyung cried more.
"What did he say tae?" Jimin asked.
"Nothing" Taehyung said quietly, if he told Jimin, it would only cause problems between Jimin and Jungkook and Taehyung didn't want that.
"Tell me what he said to you" Jimin said but Taehyung was just crying silently. Just then, Jungkook came out of school and saw Taehyung crying on jimin's shoulder.
Jimin pulled away and they both looked at Jungkook.
Jungkook looked guilty
Taehyung looked sad
And Jimin looked blank because he didn't know what Taehyung said to Jungkook. He can't be angry at Jungkook for rejecting Taehyung because he simply didn't like Taehyung, love isn't by force but if only he knew how rudely Jungkook rejected Taehyung.
"Bye Jungkook... See you tomorrow" Jimin said
"Bye, s-see you" Jungkook said and the three of them left the school's premises.
Jungkook went right, Jimin and tae went left. They got to Taehyung's house. The older was still crying silently, he wasn't making any noise but tears were leaving his eyes and the sight broke jimin's heart.
Taehyung layed on his bed still crying and Jimin layed beside him and hugged him.
"Sorry" that was all Jimin could say.
"Chim"
"Yes tae?"
"A-am I ugly?" He asked Jimin
Jimin's heart broke, he immediately looked up at Taehyung.
"What kind of stupid question is that? Do you even know how handsome you are? If I had a face like yours, I would become an idol... Or an actor because the whole fucking world deserves to see my pretty face, do you even know how many people have a crush on you at school you beautiful fool?" Jimin almost yelled. In his eyes, Taehyung was the prettiest human on earth but he wouldn't say it outloud.
Taehyung couldn't help but chuckle.
"But you don't need my face to become an idol, you're so beautiful, more beautiful than any girl I've ever seen" Taehyung honestly said and Jimin felt butterflies erupting in his tummy.
"Do you want to become an idol? I say go for it, I can even follow you to the audition to support you" Taehyung said and Jimin shook his head.
