In Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, the Golden Trio get in trouble for being out late at night with Hagrid, and they get a detention for it. Understandable. What's not understandable, is that the detention is being out late at night with Hagrid. Can anyone explain to me why this is how it is?
