Prologue
"What's all this?" Sophie asked. She had received a note in her locker from Mr. Forkle saying that they needed to have a meeting at Havenfield after school. Naturally, she had told her friends. So after school Dex, Keefe, Fitz, and Biana had all light leaped to Havenfield with her. They had headed down to the living room to be met with the sight of Mr. Forkle, Alden, Edaline, Grady, Livvy, and Elwin. Both Grady and Alden had concerned and confused looks on their faces and Edaline was bustling around passing out mallowmelts.
"Yeah, why are we here?" Keefe agreed plopping down on the couch next to Sophie.
"I haven't been completely honest with you, Sophie." Mr Forkle stated, his face grim.
"I thought we were done with all the secret-keeping" Ro glared pointedly at Forkle as she carelessly cleaned her fingernails with one of her many knives.
"That's why I'm telling you this now" Forkle replied "look Sophie, there's no easy way to tell you this." Mr. Forkle paused to take a deep breath, shooting Sophie a sympathetic look. But it wasn't Mr. Forkle's voice that rang through the room stating,
"You have a sister Sophie, and only you can find her."
