(Info: In this story Coventry's youth got into the JPL.)
I have now been playing for Coventry for 3 weeks and have got a man of the match award and got myself 3 assists in 3 games. Its now my first day back to school, I'm now in year 11 meaning majority of the teachers know me now.
I arrive at school and walk to form there stands Niall, my best friend at school, I start talking about my Coventry journey so far and he eventually has to tell me I'm talking a bit too much. I apologise for my eagerness.
It is now lunch and a friend of mine, who usually doesn't talk to me often approaches me. "Hi Karl, I heard you are in an academy too now", Reuben said. "Oh yeah, hope we play eachother soon but also not as Liverpool are really good",I respond. "Yeah me too, bye now", he says as he walks away.
I remember that tomorrow is school football trials so that is my next focus. I want yet not want to join the team as I would prefer to focus on Coventry than the school football-wise. I shall talk to my dad about it though.
I arrive back home and make my way to training. I play to my best in it and make sure to listen to my manager and does as he says. I am on the ball in a 1-on-1 drill when I suddenly feel a pain in my right ankle. I fall over without even being touched. I look at my ankle and see nothing. I stand up and try to walk it off but I just can't. I end up sitting out the rest of training but learning by watching.
The next day, my dad excuses me from going to school to check out my ankle. They do some tests and inform me I have torn the ligaments on the inside of my foot. I thank the Doctor and arrive back home. Overthinking starts to consume me: What if I get worse and get kicked off the academy? What if it never gets better? I stop myself and think that it is highly unlikely due it being a small injury and I will be back by next game, I hope. This helps calms me down alot.
I now go downstairs struggling a little bit to play some Minecraft (call me childish all you want but I like it it is very autism-friendly) I always liked how in Minecraft you can do nearly whatever you want and I liked building in creative so I done so.
