Chapter 7: Moving

I wake up and think to myself, 'was it all a dream?' No surely it was not as I pinched myself and felt it. Also, I'm on the bus back, which I didnt notice for a while. I check my phone and see somebody messaged my parents for me.

Karl:
Hey it's Wright, I play for coventry, Karl passed out after being told he is getting a contract so I have carried him to the bus.

I look up and see Wright standing as all the seats were taken and I was taking up two whilst lying down. I move and pat the seat next to me, signalling for him to sit down. He does so and asks if I was alright. "Yeah just got shocked with that news, is all."

"Well glad you are okay, I got you sandwhiches as you missed lunch whilst you were out cold." "Oh, thanks" Wright was a pretty nice guy I have learnt so far. I pick up my sandwiches and eat them and message my friend Charlie to catch up with him.

Karl:
Charlie, I wanted to catch up and hopefully see you again as obviously we won't see eachother as often.

Charles (Kirky):
Yeah sure we can go to a park or one of our houses.

Karl:
What about, we go to mine as it'll be the last time as I am moving to Coventry.

Charles (Kirky) :
Ye sounds good.

I send him a picture of me with a thumbs up and Wright photo bombs it.

Charles (Kirky):
how the hell are you on the team bus?

Karl:
Im on the first team now

Charles (Kirky) :
🤯

I go off snapchat and turn my phone off. I need to get Wright back for his clown mask prank, but how? I think about different methods until a hand goes past my face. "Hellooo?" "Sorry zoned out then" "Well, we are back at the Coventry grounds now" I quickly get up with my stuff and leave the bus.

TW:Autism

As i get off the bus, I see swarms of paparazzi around. I start panicking hold my chest and breathing heavily until I am swooped off the floor and I run infront of Wright to get inside. "You alright Kiddo?" "Yeah autism doesn't combo well with... That" I say while, pointing at the paparazzi. I randomly start playing with my face, poking it and stuff. I get a fidget and start clicking that instead.

I get into my parent's car and of course have talk about 'the news' and i tell them that Charlie is coming around at 3pm tmorrow

I walk out of the car and into the household. I go into my room and dive onto my bed. I end up falling asleep and wake up to a buzz on my phone followed by loads of more, I see what it is and it is thousands of people following me on tiktok due to my now fame. But, not all were fans. The club and some players followed me on it too now.

A seperate notification tab was a new groupchat consisiting of all the Coventry players. I add them to my contacts majority getting nicknamed. For example, Simms is 'Bob Ross' due to his iconic afro and Van Ewijk being 'Pacey Boy 2🏃💨' I look at the chat.

Bob Ross:
Hi Karl.

Karl:
Please don't make me say hi to everybody individually 😭

I close my phone and go out for a walk and take a picture on my way adding it to my story on instagram which also gained its share of followers. I walk back and eat my tea. "Das was sehr gut, danke schön." (that was very good, thank you very much) I play some roblox with Charlie and then go to sleep.

My eyes open due to a flashing noice and a murmured, "oh no" I realised that somebody took a picture of me and I chased them, it was my dad.

Time Skip

A knock on the door is heard by my ears. It is Kirky! I answer the door an invite him in showing him my room and stuff. I also show him a wardrobe filled with hung up football shirts.

We play and talk about stuff and then he has to leave i say goodbye, quite likely the last time we ever speak. (Writer: sorry Charlie all the characters are going as my character is moving for footballing reasons.) I pack up my things and we head out. Destination, Coventry.
