"Damn it" killua internally grumbled as they were caught. Nallumi glared at all of the heroes, not saying anything. "Are you 2 gonna let us explain who we are without running?" hawks asked with a smile on his face. Nallumi's eyes then turned red, and she scowled. "What's there to explain? it's obvious you're all just new employees. It's not rocket science to figure out. The only mistery, is the wired outfits."
There was a small pause from all the heroes, since they hadn't expected an answer like that. Damn it sis, violet would've been better for a situation like this. We shouldn't get under their skin more than we already have. Killua was internally cursing at both of them for being too careless.
After a short pause, MIdnight chuckled, Hawks was trying not to snort, and both Eraserhead and All Might looked a bit amused. "Sorry kid, but you're wrong." Eraserhead said, wich caught the twins off guard. "What? But if you aren't new employees, who are you?" Killua asked, now a bit more on guard than before. "Calm down young man! We aren't here to hurt either of you! We're pro heroes after all!" All MIght tried to reasure them, but they didn't seem to buy it.
"And you expect us to belive this without any proof?" Nallumi asked with an expression that read 'you're either stupid, or you're joking'. Hawks chuckles at that, and gently pat both of their heads. "And what exactly makes you so sure we aren't heroes?" he asked, with an amused smirk. "Why would a group of heroes be in the lab to help us when the lab is still being used?" Killua asked, and was starting to get just a little annoyed.
Again, the heroes paused, but this time they looked at the twins with a bit of confusion. Midnight spoke up first. "kid, the activity here was shut down a week ago durring a raid. Didn't you hear the fighting or the alarms?" Now it was the twins turn to be confused. They looked at each other, then back at the heroes. "Not a thing. but it explains why we haven't gotten any food this week."
All four heroes looked at the kids in shock and concern. "We need to get you both to a hospital, Fast. I'm as surpised as i am concerned that you're both still alive." Erasehead said, now loosening his capture wepon on them.
The twins froze. They had never been to a hospital before, and if they went, that would mean the heroes would find out that they weren't from this world. Killua glared at them. He wasn't planning on letting himself or his sister get taken to a hospital. He scoffed. "like hell we're going. We're fine." Nallumi nodded in agreemeant, not liking the idea of a hospital either.
"That wasn't a question, it was a statmeant. You both need to go to a hospital. And if you're worried about us finding out about where you're from, we already found out," Midnight said in a firm but gentle tone. "Yeah, and we want to help you get back to your family. But we can't do that if you don't cooperate." Hawks added with a worried undertone. Both All Might and Eraserhead nodded in agreemeant.
The twns looked at each other and nodded, knwoing there was no getting out of this. Killua spoke up, and still had a skeptical look on his face. "Okay, fine, we'll come without fighting. But only under one condition." "And that would be?" Midnight asked, with a hint of curiosity. "We don't get seperated. under any circumstances." Killua said with a slight glare. "Deal." All the heroes agreed to the conditon, and spoke at the same time.
And with that, they made their way out of the lab. There were some cars parked outside, most of them unused because they had belonged to the scientists who were arrested. They all got in one car and drove a building that was made mostly of glass, and was shaped like an 'H'.
"I don't think this is a hospital" the twins said in union. "you're right, it's not. this is U.A. highschool." Midnight said, looking a bit prideful. Killua shot her a deadpan look. "You're kidding. What happened to bringing us to a hospital?" "Yeah, a school...? What good's a school gonna do us when we should be in a hospital?" Nallumi Added, looking just as confused as her brother.
Hawks spoke up next, finding their cluelessness somewhat amusing. "U.A. is a hero school. The best in japan. This place has better medical treatmeant than some hospitals do. And it was faster than a hospital." he explained.
They nodded and got out of the car. The building was big, and it seemed legit, so they would trust them. For now at least. They went inside the bilding, and it was bigger than they thought it'd be. It was bigger than the lab too. Both of them were looking around in a shock and admeration, and they were holing hands as to not lose each other.
