As the 6 of them made their way through the school, the twins had their curiosity get the better of them multiple times.
Oooohhh, what's this??? Nallumi thought as she, once again, tried wandering off into a random hallway. "Hold it right there." Midnight said as she grabbed the back of her shirt. "Heyyyy...! I wanna see what's over there...!" Eraserhead was starting to get fed-up with the twins' antics and rubbed his temples. "Well you can't go there. That's the Gen-Ed part of the school, and they currently have class, so don't bother them." "What does Gen-Ed stand for?" Killua asked, since they both had never been to school before. This caught all the heroes' attention, and they just starring at them both, like they just asked why someone dies when they get shot. "You're kidding, right?" Hawks asked, completely dumbfounded.
Killua and Nallumi were both confused by their reaction. "No? Neither of us have ever been to school before. Is it really so surprising?" "Yeah. It should be obvious that we wouldn't know normal things." Nallumi added. After the initial shock, All Might spoke up. "Well, To Answer Your Question, Gen-Ed Stands For General-Education! It's A Course U.A. Offers For Students Who Can't Make The Other Courses!" That cleared things up for both of them, and they continued on their way to the Nurses office.
On their way there, the twins tried wandering off every so often. But after a while, they finally got to their destination without losing sight of the kids. "We've had you both for less than a day, and I'll just go ahead and say that both of you are annoying with how curious you are." Eraserhead said "Well it wasn't our choice to be saved, that was all you. You can't blame us for your own choices" Killua retorted with a casual glare. "I know. And that's what makes it worse." Eraserhead spat back, while glaring back at him.
"Right, so what are we doing here?" Nallumi asked, trying to change the subject. "We're here so any injuries you both might have will be treated. Midnight replied. Hawks chirped in next. "Yeah, you'll both have your injuries treated and we'll get some food for you both too. And probably some new clothes too."
The twins looked at each other, not sure if this was good or bad, since they were used to being told that everything would be okay, just for things to end up horribly. "I wanna set a condition for when we get treated." Killua said, not fully convinced they'd be safe. "And what's that, kid?" Eraserhead said, getting slightly frustrated with the kids. "No matter what, we don't get separated." Killua replied again, as he didn't trust anyone besides himself and his sister. "Of course we're not gonna separate you two. It was never our intention." Midnight said, smiling at them reassuringly.
"What's all the chit-chat out here?" Someone said while opening the door to the nurses office. As the door opened, the twins looked over to see an elderly short woman standing in the doorway. They starred at the lady, and she starred back at them. "This is Recovery girl. Recovery girl, these two are the twins, Killua and Nallumi. We saved them from the lab we were sent to investigate." Midnight explained, noticing how the kids were on edge at the new person. "Ah, I see. Come in." Recovery girl said as she walked back into her office.

I know, this chapter is short, kill me for it. But I'm not in the ✨creative mood✨ today. Or at least not for this story. I've been mulling over the idea of writing an alternate version of this story in wich the twins don't get spotted by the heroes in their escape attempt, and I decided that I'm gonna write it. So tomorrow it should be out. But what do you think will happen during the checkup? Any ideas for what could happen? Any suggestions or wishes?
Have a good Day/Night :)
