Carla Connor answered the door to her flat and frowned as she saw her granddaughter on her doorstep "what the hell?" Carla said

"Hey gran. Get my backs will you? Please tell me you have the kettle on I could use a drink" Harlow said as she walked inside. Carla looked after her and shock her head questioning just what had happened. She grabbed her granddaughters things and closed the door as she followed Harlow inside and saw her in the kitchen where Harlow was raiding the chocolate biscuits

"Does your mother know that you're here?" Carla asked

"Totally" Harlow said

"Harlow-Grace connor"

"She thinks I'm on a school trip"

"Of course she does. You're too much like your mother. Do you know that" Carla said as Harlow looked to her and rolled her eyes

"I'll have you know I'm more fabulous"

"You really are your mother's daughter. Do you want to tell me what is going on and why you are here"

"If I told you you'll tell my mum and she'll kill me" Harlow said

"And she's not going to kill you for running half way across the country how did you get here anyway" Carla asked as Harlow looked to her

"I may of stole my mums credit card" she said as she grabbed maddies credit card out of her bag as Carla looked to her and sighed

"Your mother is definitely going to kill you. Come on it's time to explain before I ring your mother and tell her to kick  your ass back to Liverpool" Carla said

"You can't tell her. I'm looking for my dad I know that he lives im Manchester and I want to know my dad and know where I come from" Harlow said as Carla looked to her and sighed

"Your right your mum is going to murder you" Carla said

Maddie Connor walked out of her office. She saw the missed calls off of her mum and sighed. She knew that she had a meeting and how she had to be in court and she knew that she'd call her mum back later

She went to call Harlow. She knew that Harlow was off on her school trip and how she wanted to know if she got there safe. Maddie knew that Harlow was acting weird and she couldn't help but get an off feeling. She knew her daughter and she knew that she was acting odd

Maddie frowned to herself as the phone rang out and sighed

"Harlow. Call me back so I know they you got there safe as hard as it is to accept I am your mother and I do worry over you, let me know that your alive" Maddie said as she left a vocie mail.

"Maddie. Your due in court" her assistant said as Maddie nodded

"If there's any messages let me know I have a feeling my teenage daughter is up to know good" Maddie said as she walked back into her office.

Maddie knew what Harlow was like and how she was a girl with her own mind and Maddie couldn't help but worry just over what her daughter was getting up too. All that she knew was that she didn't have a good feeling over what Harlow was up too

Harlow sat in the flat with Carla who had left a message for Maddie "oh please tell me that you didn't tell my mum she will kill me" Harlow said as Carla looked to her and sighed

"What do you expect when you run off" Carla said

"She doesn't know I am here. I'm meant to be in London. I just want to find my dad she won't even talk to me over him all I know is that he lives up here and that he broke her heart and then I appeared in her womb" Harlow said

"They you did. Making me a gran too young. Making your mum a mum too young which surprised me at how well she did it. She handed it better than I did with her" Carla said

"I'm hungry can you order a McDonald's"

"I'll order you boarding school young lady" Carla said

"You love me" Harlow said

"You really are your mothers daughter"

"Do you know who my dad is?" Harlow asked as Carla sighed

"That's not for me to tell your darling" Carla said as Harlow looked to her and smiled

Harlow stood in the street. Carla had gone to take a call at the factory. Harlow checked her phone and cursed to herself as she saw the missed calls off of Maddie. She knew that Maddie would know that she wasn't on the school trip where she was meant to be and that she wasn't going to be be furious

She looked to see a man walked out of the house and looked to her "your a new face around here" he said as she looked up at him and smiled. She knew that she didn't know him but she felt as if he was familiar

"I'm waiting for my gran. I am sure that she is on the phone to my mum to come get me. I was meant to be on a trip but I ran off. I wanted to come and find out who I was you know" Harlow said as Nick looked to her and nodded

"That's understandable. Who is your mum?" He asked

"Her name is Maddie. Maddie Connor" Harlow said as Nick looked to her and frowned. He knew what he and Maddie had been through in the past and he knew how he hadn't treat her like he should do and he was doing the maths

"Harlow come on" Carla said as Harlow smiled at Nick as she walked off

"Who was that" Harlow asked Carla

"No one you need to worry over" Carla said knowing fully it was Harlow father

Nick watched as she walked off as he grabbed his phone and rang Maddie

"Hello?" Maddie said on the other side. Nick was shocked she had the same number and that he still had

"Hello Maddie"

"Nick?"

"When were you going to tell me that you left pregnant with my daughter?" He asked. Maddie paled on the other side knowing Joe he knew over Harlow and just how everything would change
