The blade rested tightly in my palm, my fingertips placed securely around it. Walking out the door he knocked me to the ground as I gasped for a breath. He swiftly pulled a black an white lighter from his pocket and bent down letting the flames caress the blades sharp jagged edges until it was too hot to touch. I looked up at him with sorrow an apologetic filled blue eyes yet he remained emotionless. He then dropped the lighter back in his pocket, placing his soft hands around mine moving the blade to face upward an on my stomach.
"You don't hav-" I began but the looked he gave me was enough to shut me up.
I held the blade in place as he put both his hands on the sides of my head and lowered himself closer to me. His bare abdomen being pierced by the blade the lower he got. He gasped in pain but kept going as I arched up a bit finishing the job so he didn't have to further suffer.
"I love yo-" the words faded into the air as his eyes closed an he went limp. I then moved him off me an sat his body laying next to me, the blade glowing an electric blue color as his body nearly faded into microscopic partials before he was nothing.
Warm tears burned at the back of my eyes as memories flashed in my mind. To a time where he wasn't about to turn into the raging monster he'd kept hidden deep within himself so well. I knew he would come back but I wasn't sure when.
