The sun had barely risen over Washington, D.C., casting a soft glow over the city as Olivia Pope arrived at the office. She had barely slept, her mind racing with the latest crisis her team needed to handle. Despite the exhaustion, she put on her best game face as she stepped into OPA, ready to tackle whatever came her way.

The office was already buzzing with activity. Huck was engrossed in his computer, Quinn was sorting through a stack of files, and Abby was on the phone, her voice firm and authoritative. Liv took a deep breath and made her way to her desk, trying to shake off the lingering fatigue.

As the morning progressed, the pressure began to mount. A high-profile client was embroiled in a scandal that threatened to derail their career, and it was up to Liv and her team to fix it. She spent hours on the phone, negotiating with reporters and strategizing with her team. Each call, each decision, felt like a weight pressing down on her chest.

By noon, Liv could feel the familiar signs of anxiety creeping in. Her hands trembled slightly as she reached for her coffee, and her heart pounded in her chest. She tried to push it aside, focusing on the task at hand, but the feeling only intensified.

Abby noticed the change in Liv's demeanor. "Hey, Liv, you okay?" she asked, her voice filled with concern. Liv forced a smile, nodding. "Yeah, just a lot going on," she replied, hoping to reassure her friend. But Abby wasn't convinced. She had seen Liv like this before and knew it was more than just stress.

As the afternoon wore on, the situation only got worse. Liv's breathing became shallow, and she felt a tightness in her chest. She tried to focus on the files in front of her, but the words blurred together, and she couldn't concentrate. The walls of the office seemed to close in, and she felt trapped.

Abby watched Liv closely, her worry growing. She had to do something. "Liv, why don't you take a break? Get some fresh air," she suggested gently. But Liv shook her head, her voice strained. "I can't, Abby. There's too much to do."

Suddenly, Liv's vision went dark, and she felt herself swaying. Abby rushed to her side, catching her before she could fall. "Liv, you're having a panic attack. You need to sit down," she said firmly. Liv's eyes were wide with fear, and she struggled to breathe.

Abby helped Liv to a chair, trying to keep her calm. "Breathe with me, Liv. In and out, nice and slow," she instructed, but Liv's panic only seemed to worsen. Desperate, Abby grabbed her phone and dialed Fitz's number, praying he would answer.

Fitz was in Vermont, enjoying a rare moment of peace. He had been thinking about Liv, missing her more than he cared to admit. When his phone rang, he saw Abby's name on the screen and immediately felt a knot of worry in his stomach. "Abby? What's wrong?" he asked, his voice tense.

"It's Liv," Abby replied, her voice trembling. "She's having a panic attack at OPA. I don't know what to do. She needs you, Fitz." Fitz's heart sank. He knew how serious Liv's panic attacks could be. "I'm on my way," he said without hesitation. "Tell her I'm coming."

Abby hung up and returned to Liv's side. "Fitz is on his way, Liv. Just hold on a little longer," she said, squeezing Liv's hand. Liv nodded weakly, trying to focus on Abby's voice, but the panic was overwhelming.
