*SATORU'S POV*
It's Saturday morning, and what better way is there to spend my morning than currently pacing around my dorm trying to figure out what the hell to do? My mom probably won't let me not go, and she's acting like giving me the "option" to take a girl is some kind of privilege. I know that it's not really a choice, that I have to bring a girl. Utahime is the only girl I know, but I don't want her getting the wrong idea about us.
At the very minimum, I could bring Suguru with me, even if he doesn't go to the actual ceremony. I sure as hell don't want to go to a foreign country without him, because I've gotten so used to having him around.
"Satoru, you should sit down." Suguru says from his desk.
"You'll come to America with me right?"
"But I thought your mo-" I cut him off.
"You probably can't be with me during the event, but she didn't say anything about not bringing you along with me at all." I grin. I'm pretty proud of myself that I found a loophole after all.
"But you have to bring a girl along with you as well." Oh, I hadn't realized that he had heard that part.
"Well- yeah but... I can bring two people. It's not like I can't afford it."
"I don't want you wasting your money on me." I stop pacing around the room and place my hands on my hips, facing him at his desk.
"You coming with me won't affect anything anyway. The private jet is per hour not per person dumbass." I resume my pacing before he kicks my shin and I grab onto the railing of his bed in order to keep myself upright.
"I didn't know it was a private jet, so shut up. When is this thing anyways?"
"Three months from now."
"So what's the panicking for? It's so far away."
"I'm still sorta hung up on this whole bringing a girl situation." I rub the back of my neck out of nervousness. I don't really want to bring Utahime, but do I have a choice? I don't really make friends with women, she's the only one who is really a friend rather than an acquaintance.
"I mean, Utahime..."
"I don't want to bring her. She'll get the wrong idea. Every girl does." Suguru nodded at that.
"That's true, when we met after class I overheard a girl from yours asking her friend 'Do you think Gojo looked at me?'"
"Right, because I can't even look anywhere without someone thinking I'm head over heels for them."
"Just that charming, hm?"
"What a pain, being such a hot man." Ow! Suguru just kicked me in my shin.
"You should stop being so arrogant." He was the one who complimented me first!
"Not fairrr, you were the one who called me charming."
"I can do that, you can't."
"Ugh, whatever." I roll my eyes. "I guess Utahime is my only option huh?" Without thinking, I go and sit in his lap, on the thigh of one of his spread legs. Oh well, too late to take this back now so I might as well commit.
I lean against him, placing my arm around him with my legs crossed. He looks up at me and laughs quietly with that pretty voice of his. He's the one to roll his eyes this time, placing a hand on my knee before responding.
"She is. You better ask soon, don't hold it off like you do with everything else."
"Fine, fine. But can you come with me?"
