Victoria's pov
Only one hour passed and I already tried to open all the little cabinets in my room which I could reach, but none of them were open. I sat down on my bed exhausted, but then I saw that there was blood on my pillow, so I started to wash it out.
Suddenly, I heard a click behind me and the door, next to the lamp switch, opened and a strict and dangerous looking woman came in, the key to my room still in her hand. She could be 180 centimeters tall, higher than me with 10 centimeters, she wore a black leather jacket and pants, her black and red hair in a ponytail. Her hand rested on her two samurai swords, which were on her left side and I could also see several daggers and shurikens on her belt. She looked at me with her strict and threatening black eyes.
"Maja Nelson, professional assassin" she said without unnecessary words and unpleasently short. "My principal want me to keep you here, but you'll be able to see all your loved one's death until you realize you have no one left. And then... I'll kill you" she told my fate to me with only one breath.
"I think you might made a mistake because I don't have enemies who want me and my whole family to suffer" I tried to talk out myself from the trouble, but Maja interrupted.
"Are you Victoria Karlos?" she asked.
"Yes"
"Then I didn't make a mistake and you'll die soon, but right now the show is just about to start. Emily Karlos just went to meet Georgina Walsh who will give her a document sent by my principal. If you can get through that door in time" she pointed at the other door "then you'll find the copy of that document and maybe you'll see your sister too. Of course, only through the security footage, but it's better than nothing. Here, you'll need this" she threw a key to me which I caught and looked at her confused, but she already left the room.I ran after her scared, but she already locked the door when I arrived there. I hit the door out of frustration and went to the other door with the key I got. I tried it in the lock, but it didn't fit in. It was too small. I realized that the door key must be in one of the cabinets and I can open it with this other key.
I looked at my room and saw hundreds of cabinets. I knew I can't just try out all the locks.
Has to be a track which I can follow.
I examined the key, but I didn't find anything. I lay down on my bed disappointed and I tried to figure out some kind of system which could help while I was staring at the ceiling. After five minutes of useless thinking, I noticed something on the ceiling which I didn't until now. There were tiny cracks on it and I could see a number formating from them.375
I jumped out from the bed immediately and looked for the cabinet 375. I found it very quickly, but it was at the top of the filing cabinets and I couldn't reach it. I looked around desperately for a thing I can step up, but I didn't find anything but my bed which I could move there, so I pushed it there and step on it to get my other key.
I held my breath while I turned the key in the lock which made a click and opened. I opened the cabinet and searched for the key, I didn't even bother to pull out the other key from the lock. I found the key in two seconds, jumped down from the bed and sprinted to the door.
I turned the key in a hurry, I heard the door unlock and I bursted through the door. I found myself in a smaller room. There was a big screen with several security footage images changing each other. I saw Emily, heading to a café to meet with Gina, just as Maja's principal planed, but now I paid my attention on one thing. In front of the screen there was a table and a chair and on the table, the promised document. There was only a name on the front which I never heard of in my life.
