When would Sentinel just drop dead?
They were getting tired. Exhausted from sitting awake at night just because they feared that Sentinel would come in while they slept. It didn't matter anyway. Sentinel just took and took and took and never thought for a second what it was doing to them. Thought that since he controlled the city, the guards and the miners, (Name) would never fight back. Thought that (Name) would remain forever patient as long as he was in power.
He was wrong. (Name) was getting impatient. Was getting tired of this old song and dance they were doing for the past, what, 10 vorns? They were getting tired, exhausted, and enraged.
And soon enough?
They feared that Luffy wouldn't matter enough in the face of a chance for freedom. Wouldn't matter if Sentinel threatened him again.
It made them feel terrible. That they were feeling like this in the first place.
But was it not the truth?
Luffy was the reason they were in this in the first place. Because of course. Of course, the younger mech was too important for them. The red and black mech had a way of just, worming his way into your heart like some kind of parasite. Had a way of making you think twice. Had a way of making you think that he was more important than he actually was.
