Ship: Hueningkai x ??? (Back at it again w the surprise ships 😋😋)
Story starts here c:
"OMG SOOBIN I NEED HELP!" Kai exclaimed through the phone, startling the other. "J-jeez, calm down... What is it though?" The younger groaned in frustration before speaking again. "Sorry... I just need a costume for the Halloween party your man's hosting this Friday ASAP!" His words were frantic. I mean, his crush was gonna be there, he HAD to look flawless.
What was he even gonna be? Soobin was already matching with Yeonjun, and he didn't know what any of his other friends were going to be. Damn...he really was in a predicament. That's why he had decided to call up his trusty friend, Choi Soobin, in the first place! "Hmm...wanna go shopping? Not at Spirit Halloween though, they got ass costumes."
That's how Kai ended up in a clothing store while his friend searched through the aisles. The shorter knew he had an idea in mind, but he still hasn't told him. "Y'know, your fashion has gotten significantly better ever since you and that fashionista got together." He teased the blondie as he trailed behind him.
The other ignored Hyuka and picked up another article of clothing. "How about this?" Soobin spoke, both to himself and the also blond male in front of him. It was a white hoodie. It looked pretty majestic for it being a hoodie, but something in Kai liked this piece of clothing. "Hmm...sure! But what exactly are you trying to go for? Im a little lost here, y'know?"
"Just wait and see!" He exclaimed in excitement, speed walking through the racks of clothes while Kai followed him, a pout making its way onto his face.
After about an hour and a half, an outfit was picked out for Hyuka. Now that he looked at the completed outfit, he understood what it was. It wasn't too bad, though, why was this Soobin's idea? "Yo Soob, I appreciate the help with finding me a costume, but what was the reason for dressing me up like this?"
"Just go to the party and you'll see!" The taller winked, Kai sighing in response.
"Fine..."

Huening Kai knocked on the door of his friend's diabolically ginormous house. The door opened, and the loud music and sound of people talking filled his ears as he walked in. When he looked over at Yeonjun, who opened the door, he noticed him and his boyfriend Soobin's matching joker and Harley Quinn costumes (A/N: soobin as harley quinn is my roman empire).
"Hey Hyuka! You're looking good! I'm sure a little someone is gonna like your outfit," Yeonjun said, wiggling his eyebrows teasingly. Kai sent the older a glare before looking around the area, trying to spot someone specific. Once that specific person caught his eye, his breath caught in his throat.
