Tavni and Vishnu walked back to class, their minds still buzzing with the unspoken words and the unspoken feelings. The rest of the day passed in a blur, each class seeming to last an eternity as their thoughts wandered back to their conversation under the old oak tree.

As the final bell rang, signaling the end of the school day, Tavni and Vishnu found themselves walking home together, their steps synchronized, their conversation flowing effortlessly.

"So, what do you think about the upcoming science project?" Vishnu asked, trying to break the comfortable silence that had fallen between them.

"I'm thinking we should do something on renewable energy," Tavni replied. "It's a hot topic right now, and it would be a great opportunity to learn more about it."

"That's a good idea," Vishnu agreed. "We could build a small wind turbine or a solar panel."

As they walked, they discussed their project ideas, their voices filled with excitement and enthusiasm. But beneath the surface, their minds were still preoccupied with their unspoken feelings.

"Hey, Tavni," Vishnu began, his voice hesitant. "I was thinking about what we talked about earlier today..."

Tavni's heart skipped a beat. She knew what he was going to say, but she pretended to be oblivious. "Oh, about the science project?" she asked, feigning innocence.

Vishnu chuckled. "No, not about the science project. About...us."

Tavni's face flushed. "Us?" she stammered.

"Yeah, us," Vishnu said. "I know it's a bit sudden, but I can't deny how I feel about you anymore."

Tavni's heart pounded in her chest. She had been waiting for him to say those words for so long. But she also knew that she couldn't rush into anything.

"Vishnu," she began, her voice barely a whisper. "I...I feel the same way about you, but..." She paused, unsure of how to continue.

Vishnu's heart sank. "But what?" he asked, his voice filled with worry.
"I don't know," Tavni admitted. "I just...I'm not sure if this is the right time."

Vishnu's disappointment was evident. "I understand," he said, trying to hide his hurt. "We can take things slow."

Tavni nodded, feeling a pang of guilt.
"Yeah, that's probably best," she said.
As they continued their walk home, the atmosphere between them had shifted.

The lightness and excitement had been replaced by a heavy silence. They both knew that their feelings for each other were real, but they also knew that they needed to take things slow.

The sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across the quiet street. Tavni and Vishnu walked hand in hand, their hearts filled with joy. Yet, a subtle undercurrent of hesitation flowed beneath the surface of their newfound happiness.

Tavni's family, though supportive, was a bit conservative. While they would undoubtedly be happy for her, they might have concerns about the speed at which their relationship was progressing. She knew she would need to navigate their expectations carefully, balancing her own feelings with their wishes.

On the other hand, Vishnu's life was complicated by a pre-arranged marriage by birth . While his intended bride was missing, the bond was still legally binding. He wondered how his family would react to his newfound love for Tavni. Would they understand? Would they accept her?

Despite these concerns, their love for each other grew stronger with each passing day. They knew that they would face challenges together, but they were determined to overcome them. As they walked, they discussed their future, dreaming of a life together filled with love, laughter, and endless possibilities.

"I can't believe we're actually doing this," Tavni whispered, her voice barely audible.

Vishnu smiled. "I know, right? It feels like a dream."

They paused under a streetlamp, their eyes locked. The silence between them was comfortable, filled with unspoken words and unspoken promises.

"What if we get caught?" Tavni asked, her voice trembling slightly.

Vishnu took her hand in his. "We won't get caught," he said confidently. "We'll be careful."

Tavni nodded, but her worries remained. She knew that their relationship was a delicate balance, a secret that could easily unravel.
As they continued their walk, they couldn't shake the feeling that their love story was just beginning. A love story filled with hope, uncertainty, and the promise of a future together.
