"Why am I not as privileged as them?"
"Why am I ugly?"
"Why do they look cute smiling?"
"Why am I not as intelligent as them?"
"Why are my feelings always invalidated?"
"Why do bad things keep happening to me?"
"Why does life keep throwing problems at me?"
"Why am I fat?"
"Why am I thin?"These are the words that usually pop up in our heads. We always question why this thing keeps happening to us. Plenty of why's and plenty of self-pitying. We always blame ourselves each time we encounter failure. We compare ourselves to others, for they are living the exact opposite life as ours. You scroll through your social media, and you keep seeing those things that make you feel smaller. All those people who lived their lives to the fullest. Having all the luxury things in life and making all day to have a blast. They may look perfect in our eyes, but they also feel the same way we feel. They also feel envious, they feel anger, they feel lonely, and they also feel disappointed, just like us. It is okay to cry if you feel too much burden. It is okay to feel sad, but just remember that all those hardships you face will mold you into a better version of yourself. As human beings, we are complex and multifaceted, shaped by our experiences and emotions. We feel different emotions that shape us. They reflect our personality, our insights, and also the way we carry our own problems. Each and every one of us has different perspectives on life, shaped by our unique experiences and backgrounds. We all deserve to be loved, to be forgiven, to be accepted, and to be proud of who we are. It’s important to remind ourselves that our worth is not determined by our appearance, our intelligence, or our material possessions.
