"Miss. Blaire Chernova?"

I set my pen aside, lifting my head to look at the person that had called for me. Andrew Montreal. Vice President of the school, grinning wildly as he proudly show me the tower of wild printed papers and envelops in his hands. There is no doubt that, those papers are extra paper works for the two of us. Though to not show my annoyance I gave him my perfectly practiced kind and warm smile, so perfectly practiced that everyone believes it to be genuine. 

"No need to be so formal, Montreal," I continue the act, watching as he pushes through the door and uses his feet to slam the door close. My eyes frown at his action but I quickly change my expression as he walks towards me quickly, loudly dumping the towers of paper work on my table, "Rough morning?" 

I managed to bite my lips to control the glare and annoyance that boils in me, surprised that I manage to smile at his rude manners. Montreal lazily sat on one of the chairs beside my office table, rolling his brown eyes at my questions. He and I, though have been attending the same institut and being classmates as well as being in multiple same clubs, are never close. I never have considered him as a friend but only a close aquintance. Thus, I do not appreciate his comfortability to roll his eyes and rudely manners at my simple and kind question.

"Very," he breaths heavily, head resting on his palm and resting his feet on top the other chair, to which I bite my inner cheeks to halt the harsh words that threaten to spill, "It's a very busy year for us, Seraphims," he then faces me, mischief in his eyes and lips, "I propose we go to the headmaster  and suggest that the Cherubims or Ophariums take up our responsibilities, I mean it's not like it's an uncommon practice."

"You want to pass on our responsibilities as the President and Vice President of this school to the younger Cardinals?" I had almost let out a sarcastic scoff at his suggestion, though I do agree that it is not an uncommon practice, I had at least expected something from him. Decency as a senior and leader of the institute.

"What's wrong with it?" He feigns innocence, "They'll have to have this burden once they rank up to Seraphims anyway, plus it make sense don't you agree? We're graduating, we have to study for our exams and SATS or Celestial Ascension for us Elysians."

I am not surprise by Montreal's suggestion, I have known him for so long that I'm very much aware of how he uses his influence and money to have people do his homework and assessments, he's proud of it as well. Though I sometimes question whether the Professors are still in the dark of this corruption or they are also very corrupted and turns blind eye to it. Thus, it greatly surprised me when he managed to be selected as the Institut's Vice President and manage to perfectly answer the exams, though I won't be surprised if he had used corruption to gain the title and perfect the exams. Still, I had much expectations from him, Montreal comes from an influencial and powerful family that runs the world. As most students here are from anyway. I had an expectation, that as he is finally a Vice President, he would at least have become matured and take his jobs responsibly - taking his family's values maturely and have the decendy to do his role. But I am one stupid girl for expecting that from someone who had always been taught the ways of corruption. 

"Do what you want." I smile at him, I am in no place to teach him anything, it is his parents job to do that. Furthermore, as long as his corruption doesn't affect me, I do not see the reason of why I should be stepping up or stopping him from doing whatever he wants.

"Are you going to continue the paper works?" He scoffs, looking at me as though I had lost my sanity. Maybe I have. 

Taking half of the printed papers and envelop I look at him, "Please go back to your office Montreal, I'm taking half of these envelops and papers, it's best we get these started now and finish early, as you said we have crucial exams to study for."
