I was washing the dishes Kairo and kameelah had used to eat and put out the remaining food for the boys and my best friend who were coming over.

As i was washing up the last dish, i heard a knock on the door and my security system on my phone said it was them so i called kairo to open the door as I've been trying to teach him how to.

"Roro baby!" i shouted.
"Yes mummy."

"Come open the door for your uncles and aunty niyah." I shouted again.
I didn't hear a response but i could hear footsteps running down the stairs.
"Don't trip baby."

He ran past the kitchen to the front door and opened it.
"UNCLE DD." i heard kairo yell.

I finished up the dishes, wiping my hands on the table cloth, walked to the living room to pick kameelah from her bouncer and walked to the door with her. When we got there, i could see dd throwing kairo in the air and tickling his tummy, causing him to squeal.
I find it so adorable; when I revealed i was pregnant with kairo, the whole group were ecstatic. Same with kameelah but they were extra happy it was a girl.

"Hey yall." I said as they started walking through the door.
I greeted dee, dudeylo, ddot and roscoe and they greeted kameelah before walking into the kitchen to eat while notti stayed behind to take kameelah out my arms and cuddle with her. Dd and kairo had already walked into the living room and were chasing after each other.

The last people to walk in were Quan, keem's twin brother and my best friend, Aniyah. Keem was my baby daddy but we broke up 3 months after kameelah was born. He wasn't taking the father responsibility seriously during my postpartum and when kameelah was 3 months old, i had enough. Even though we are broken up, we still do co-parenting because what kind of mother would i be to not let my kids see their father.
