Alyx Huxley was your typical nerdy guy in high school. Althea Rossi was somewhat like your typical popular girl. Their worlds randomly collided when Alyx became Althea's tutor. Their study sessions slowly become more intense between the two.

So far college is basically like high school but with more students. Being a background character is a blessing and a curse. It's a blessing for when I don't want people to notice me but a curse when I want to try and meet new people. I sat through my humanities class before the teacher dismissed us. When I was nearly by the door, the teacher stopped me and a girl.
"Mr. Huxley. Ms. Rossi a moment please."I nodded and looked over to the girl as she rolled my eyes at the professor. "Mr. Huxley, you seem to be one of the smartest students I've ever taught. Ms. Rossi here is having some difficulties with my work and is currently not passing. I wanted to ask if you'd be able to tutor her."The teacher asked while looking at me. "Uh yea that's no issue for me sir. I can tutor her." The teacher grinned as I walked out of the classroom with the girl.
"I'm Althea. Nice to meet you and judging by how you dress you're not used to girls speaking to you. I need to pass so I can stay on the volleyball and softball team so if the teacher said you're the smartest kid he's taught I trust his word. What building is your dorm in? After practice I can swing by and study with you." Althea said while looking at me. I scratched my head gently while looking at her. "Rowe Building by the rec center. Room 515. I'm Alyx by the way. Nice to meet you."
Althea gently shook my hand before her friend came over and she left. Man she was so pretty. I went to my other classes for the day like usual and did a short workout before heading to my dorm room. After setting my things down I took a long shower and while drying off I heard a knock on the door. "Alyx? Are you in there?" Althea asked while I frantically started getting dressed. Once I had shorts on and a shirt I opened the door for her. "Sorry if I took long I was getting dressed."
Althea looked at me while nodding. "Yea you look like you just showered. So what chapters do you want to cover tonight? I can stay late since I don't have practice tomorrow morning." I pulled a chair for her since I was the only one in my room. I wasn't assigned a roommate which I really appreciate so I have more room for my collection. "Chapters 15-20 will be on the quiz so we'll cover those first. Make yourself comfortable. I don't have a roommate." Althea nodded to my words while putting her equipment bag down by the door.
For a few hours we went through the chapters and I did some practice questions with her as she was getting them right. "You're very smart but you're failing the class. What's happening here?" I asked while looking at her. "Well one no one ever called me stupid and secondly he explains everything too fast for me hence why I don't get what he's teaching." I gulped lightly while looking at her. "I didn't mean to insinuate that you were stupid. I'm just shocked that you're failing with the level of intelligence you do have." Althea nodded to me while checking the time before getting up and stretching her body gently as I couldn't help but look.
