Taehyung stood outside jungkook's front door, fidgeting with his backpack straps. Their senior year of high school was about to begin, and he couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nervousness.

The door swung open, and jungkook's bright smile greeted him. "Hey, taetae! Ready for the last hurrah?"

Taehyung returned the smile, trying to shake off the flutter in his chest. "Born ready."

As they walked to school, jungkook chatted about her summer, her words spilling out like a bubbling brook. Taehyung listened intently, laughing at his jokes and making supportive noises.

Their dynamic hadn't changed since childhood. Jungkook, the outgoing optimist, balanced taehyung's introverted nature. He admired his zest for life, and he valued his listening ear.

Upon arriving at school, they parted ways to grab their lockers.

As taehyung opened his locker, jimin (chim) sauntered up beside him. "Hey, man. Ready for the big year?"

Taehyung shrugged. "As ready as I'll ever be."

Jimin grinned. "You nervous about college apps?"

"Nope," taehyung lied, hiding his anxiety.

Jimin raised an eyebrow. "You're not worried about jungkook leaving for college?"

Taehyung's heart skipped a beat. Jungkook's college plans had been a constant topic of discussion, but hearing jimin mention it made it feel more real.

"Hey, guys!" Jungkook called out, rejoining them. "What's up?"

"Just discussing our impending doom," jimin joked.

Jungkook rolled his eyes good-naturedly. "You're not going to turn into pumpkins on Halloween, guys."

They start talking a little later

The bell rang, signaling their first class. As they parted ways, taehyung couldn't shake off jimin's words. Taehyung think in his mind that if Jimin was saying the right thing then what should I do?

Taehyung had always known jungkook would leave for college, but the thought of being separated from him terrified him. What if they drifted apart ?

Taehyung said in his mind Why am I worrying about this now? We still had a whole year together.

_Scene Shift_

AP English Literature class
Taehyung enter in class And he started looking for Jungkook, he saw a crowd of girls gathered on one seat, he went near his seat he stood there peacefully

Girl 1: jungkook please let me sit with you today
Girl 2 :not today
Girl 3 :no please today i will seat with you

Jungkook's eyes looked towards Taehyung, he saw Taehyung staring at him, he didn't know, he felt a little scared and told those girls in a brave way, go from here, let me sit comfortably then everyone left from there

Jungkook said came taetae sit here
Taehyung said no why I will sit here take those girls with you and start leaving from there but jungkook grabs taehyung's hand and pulls him towards himself Jungkook says sorry, next time no one will be allowed to sit on your seat. Taehyung happily says it will be good for you and hugs Jungkook.

Taehyung slid into his seat beside jungkook, exchanging a warm smile. Ms. Regina enter in class room and began discussing the curriculum, and taehyung's mind wandered
