falling for the best friend (Taekook Ff)

After half an hour, everyone goes to class after practice.
Tae pov
I was sitting on my seat for Hindi class, Bogum came to my seat and asked why are you sitting alone I told him that Jungkook doesn't have Hindi subject and Jimin also doesn't have it so I am alone here, he said oh then I will sit with you But I did not say that I do not like anyone to be so friendly with me except Jimin and Cookie, at least go and sit on your seat, she is fine, then she sat on her seat, then the teacher came to the class and started teaching

The class ended after a few hours i am waiting for jimin and jungkook on corridor
I saw Jimin and Jungkook laughing and playing with each other, I didn't like it and I ran away and jumped and hugged Jungkook

Jungkook pov
While I was talking to Jimin, I was going near tae, he ran towards me and hugged me, I was shocked for a while, then i hugged back him tightly I asked him what happened, he say anything because I was just remembering you, I told him that we were separated only for a period and you missing me so much then if i leave umm .I was about to say the complete sentence He closed my mouth with his hand and said that it will never happen like this, you will always be with me and without you even a minute takes one year to me, I told him oh my friends, I will never do this because i can't live with you you are my everything
"Tae, you're more than a friend to me," i said, eyes sparkling.
Taehyung's pulse quickened
"YOU'RE MY BEST FRIEND, MY PARTNER IN CRIME," jungkook continued.
Taehyung's heart sank.
He said oh well let's go home today I will go to your house kookie I said, let's go fine, we were talking, suddenly jimin said, have I gone, can't you both see me, he said, oh jiminshi you are so small that we both did not notice, jungkook said then jimin said You brat, I will see you later, okay I am leaving, someone must be waiting, bye hye Then Jimin left go from there, I said, did you understand anything? Why didn't you say this Jimin is hiding something from me, I don't know what to see, now let's go home jungkook said , I said okay

Taehyung followed Jungkook into his house, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves.

As they entered, Jungkook's parents greeted them warmly.

"Annyeong, Taehyung-sshi! Welcome to our home," jin said.

Namjoon added, "We've heard a lot about you."

Taehyung bowed respectfully.

"Annyeong, Mr. and Mrs. Jeon. Thank you for having me."

Jin  smiled.

"Please, call us Mom and Dad. We're not formal here."

As they sat down, namjoon asked.

"Taehyung, what do you think of our Kook's cooking?"

Taehyung chuckled.

"Actually, Jungkook's cooking is quite impressive."

Jungkook smile.

Dad, stop teasing."
Jin winked.

"We're just happy to see Kook happy."

As they chatted, Taehyung felt at ease.

Jungkook's parents were warm and welcoming.

But he couldn't help noticing:

The way Jungkook's eyes sparkled when talking about him.

The way Jungkook's hand brushed against his.

Was he imagining things?

Meanwhile, jin observed:

The way Taehyung listened attentively.

The way Taehyung smiled at Jungkook.

He exchanged a knowing glance with namjoon.

"Kook's found someone special," he whispered.
Namjoon nodded.
"We'll support him, no matter what."

As dinner concluded, namjin led the conversation.

"Taehyung, we've noticed how close you and Kook are," jin  said.

Namjoon added, "We're curious... is there something more between you two?"

Jungkook's eyes widened.

Taehyung's face turned bright red.

"Ah, no, no, nothing like that," taehyung hastily replied.

Taehyung echoed, "Just friends, we're just really close friends.

Jin eyes sparkled.

"We're not blind, boys. We see how you look at each other."

Namjoon chuckled.

"Maybe you're just really good friends, but we want you to know... we'd support you either way."

Taehyung and Jungkook exchanged nervous glances.

Jungkook spoke up.

"Really, mom dad, we're just friends. We've known each other for years."

Taehyung nodded vigorously.

"Yeah, that's all. Don't worry about it."

Jib smiled.

"We just want Kook to be happy. If that's with Taehyung, we'll support it."

The tension dissipated.

But Taehyung couldn't shake off:

The feeling that Jungkook's parents saw right through them.

The uncertainty of his own feelings.

Jungkook, too, struggled:

With the desire to confess.

With the fear of ruining their friendship.

As they parted ways, Jungkook walked Taehyung out.

"Thanks for covering for me," Jungkook whispered.

Taehyung smiled.

"No problem, friend."

Their eyes met.

For a moment, the world froze.
Jin says eat your food both of you , on hearing whose voice both of us come out of our dreams and start eating
After some time Taehyung leaves for his home
